The Dyson Cool™ AM06 Desk Fan generates smooth, powerful airflow for personal cooling. Like all Dyson bladeless fans, it uses Air Multiplier™ technology to draw in surrounding air, creating powerful air projection.

The AM06 is quiet and powerful - 75% quieter than Dyson’s previous generation of fans. Dyson engineers have reduced turbulence and noise throughout the machine by channelling airflow more efficiently. This fan now houses a Helmholtz cavity, designed to capture and dissipate noise from the motor - which has been calibrated to run slower whilst maintaining powerful airflow.

There’s also a remote control for precise airflow control, and a sleep timer – AM06 can be programmed to turn off after preset intervals, for ease of use throughout the night.

Its a fan !

I bet it has a 'digital motor' too!

Cheaper one here on Amazon:

50 Watt Fan

They are amazing-but yes expensive.

It basically has a conventional fan in the case, total ****

I bet 99% of Dyson owners own iphones.

It has a normal fan in the base, and is surprisingly noisy (although that may have been the old version)... as far as I'm concerned they are stupidly over priced for what they are.

One of our friends has the AM05 model that cost him over £300, I have a tall floor standing fan that i got from Argos for £40, I can honestly say that my fan is so much better - Overpriced is not enough of a criticism

used one in hospital. they are good and a nice bit of tech, however I would not pay much more than £40 (and thats just because of my dream to send small birds through it in a sonic style spped boost)
