Key technologies

Powered by the Dyson digital motor V10
Generates the suction power of a full-size vacuum.²

14 cyclones
14 cyclones generate forces of more than 79,000g to fling microscopic particles – such as pollen and bacteria – into the bin.

Fade-free power
The seven-cell, lithium-ion battery has the fade-free power to clean here, there and everywhere around your home.

Whole-system filtration
The fully-sealed filtration system traps 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns – expelling cleaner air.³

Acoustically engineered
Designed to absorb vibrations and dampen sound, to keep sound levels down.

In-line configuration
The motor, bin and cyclone are aligned, so air is drawn into the cyclones in a straight line – creating 20% more suction power than the Dyson V8™ vacuum cleaner.

Got a new v11 for £214 few months ago on dysons ebay so don't think this is a good deal

I was on this deal. Technically it is not new but refurbished though hard to tell the difference

This or the Samsung Jet 90 pro? (edited)

I have got a 4 bed detached house and can easily do the whole house on one charge. I don't need to use the high setting either. The medium setting is more than powerful enough.

Worst vacuum cleaner I've ever owned. This thing constantly blocks filters and always needs emptied.Suction isn't great.Overall I'd save your money. (edited)

Can’t be that bad suction if it need emptying a lot

Had a couple of dyson , rubbish.
    Shark far better.

I’m quite the opposite. I think the shark we have
Is dreadful. it feels cheap it doesn’t feel sturdy. I don’t think the suction is great it seems to make a lot of noise but not clean that well. Will be going back to Dyson very soon

Agreed, the most unreliable vac I have ever owned, this is probably why there are so many refurbs!

The Dyson one has been the gold standard , I'm not aware of Samsung's as they are new to the vacuum game compared to Dyson . Check YouTube I guess

People complaining about dyson products do realise with simple maintenance which is wiping with wet cloth, cleaning filters and brush bars these vacuums last and perform.

I have these around the house
    DC25 for deep cleans upstairs
    DC28c for deep cleans downstairs
2 X V11 one for upstairs one for downstairs
    V8 for the car
DC05 in the loft for dirty jobs.

Even look great compared to others

Going back to proper vacuums. These battery ones are useless

I have a V10 and recently had issue, which CS fixed quickly. But while it was out of action, I had to use my old corded dyson. I couldn't bare it! The though of pulling out cable and pulling the whole thing around actually made me vacuum less.

I would rather get another cordless as spare than go back to corded. If you create so much mess that a cordless can't handle than I think it's your lifestyle need changing rather than the vacuum. (edited)

    £420 normal price! Lmao!
  10. sashforth's avatar
This is a pretty average price for a vacuum that is several years old now and has been superseded a couple of times.

We had a V10 and, while it was working, it was extremely convenient and effective. Unfortunately it became a pain in the arse to use because of some blockage or other. We gave up in the end and went onto the V11 using the same £214 deal from the Dyson eBay outlet site that Fubarkid referred to earlier. So far, so good but if it misbehaves like the V10 then this will be our last Dyson.

I have the V11 and it suits my 3 bed terrace perfectly. The charge JUST ABOUT allows me to clean the whole house in one go, so if you have a large house and like to do the hoovering on one go, maybe don't go for a wireless hoover.

.... but for me, the beauty of a wireless hoover is that you can quickly and easily tackle the hoovering piecemeal, as and when certain rooms need hoovering. It's also easy to just grab the hoover if you quickly just want to hoover up a small mess. There's also the added bonus of it being a car hoover. No way I'd ever go back to a wired hoover. Far too inconvenient.

Trying to purchase this, but cant find where to put the discount code in.
Followed it all the way through to end and couldnt see any option to enter the discount code...

I thought this but it’s at the very end of the checkout process under the “payment” section. Hope this helps!

my biggest criticism of this is if you vacuum up a stray wotsit or sweet wrapper, the thing instantly clogs up.
I never had that problem with the vax upright it replaced.

Have it for the last 2 months, so far big improvement over my 7y old V6. Can recommend although not sure ithis version can last that long…

I’d check out the Samsung Jet machines listed on HUKD. And anyone struggling with discount codes there -Samsung website is horrible. I ordered the last Jet Bespoke deal and it was a nightmare to get the discount codes all working but you just have to keep trying.
I’ve used Samsung jet bespoke which is similar to Jet 90 and it’s really good

I’ve upgraded recently to a refurb one from EBay as the 20% code makes it £260 and tbh I’m impressed so far and not noticing issues above.
Cleaned my house top to bottom on one charge and plenty to empty out once done.
  19. FR123's avatar
Is the code only for this model?
  20. Greg.'s avatar
Still seems on the pricey side to me - V10 was released in March 2018. Would be looking for a 'deal' closer to 200, or keep an eye out for the Samsung Jet.
    sashforth's avatar
Don't think I have seen it quite as low as £200 but you are quite right. A refurb of this has been down close to £220 to £240 on a semi regular basis on their eBay outlet site.

I have only a V6 but have had to do more maintenance on it than actually using it.

It says clean the filter by rinsing with cold water but eventually you need to just take it apart and rinse with hot water, fairy liquid and scrub inside with a toothbrush.

Hair is always getting wound up around the roller and even under the roller end/base part that starts smelling of burnt hair form friction and requires a screwdriver to take apart.

Max mode stopped working after a couple of years.

You can't vacuum up fine powders without it going bad.

While the Dyson is working, it works well... But it needs a lot of attention from me. Mielle is best from what I've heard and I'll go for them next.
    piezzio's avatar
So true about V6 but it does the job. I'm thinking about upgrading but I'll do it when my V6 die.
  22. Spartan117b's avatar
Gone forr a meile this time ,corded. Still use my dyson for quick hoover day though.
  23. Jonb133's avatar
    Overpriced rubbish these Dysons.
  24. johnnybgood's avatar
I have always had Dyson's though given the Which reports of alternatives that are much more cost effective but still perform equally well I think I might reconsider for my next cordless purchase (edited)
