Trade in your old vacuum or fan heater and save GBP80/EUR90 on this Dyson product. Just take in your old vacuum or fan heater to your Argos store to receive this discount. The DC50 Multi Floor weighs just 5.4kg but has the performance of a full-size upright vacuum. The technology inside has not simply been 'shrunk', but concentrated - every angle and dimension re-engineered. Sorry copied the wrong 1 but yeah dc50 £169.99

Just purchased 2015 model from Argos DC50 Animal for £169.99 trading in old one

i can only see 2 x dc50 animal (1 eco, 1 not) - they are £300 and £340 respectively - knock £80 off them and you're nowhere near £170??

Oh dear! Guess folks are going to have the same problems like the one experienced on the last dc40 model, where although it clearly states that £80 trade-in offer, when going to the tills they say dyson80 is not a valid code and the only code they can use is dyson16 which gives you just £57 off and not the £80 as advertised. Always take a screen shot, show the manger that this is what it states and stand your ground, sure they would take £80 off. I experienced that when I collected the dc40, none of the staff inc. the mangers knew what to do as the system just did not accept dyson80 code, useless the customer services are! Hence be adamant that as advertised you need the £80 off.

the handle of my dyson dc07 animal is broken and the motor doesnt work (dead) could this still be traded in?

Any Hoover they just throw them away

By the way, if you haven't got anything to trade in, just buy the Argos value fan heater for £10 and you'll still be £70 in pocket!!!

These are the terms and conditions. It states it won't be tested and therefore don't care whether it's working. I would suggest to just reserve it and when u go to collect and they wont take it, it's no loss to you coz you haven't paid for it (yet)

Not really, coz you can only trade like for like (according to argos t&c) so if you trade a fan you have to get a fan, unless you take to curry as they told me they would do anything.

Another example of their careless marketing.

I'd like to see them turn me down! It's almost worth trying just for the fun!!!

U have to trade a vacuum for vacuum and fan heater fot the dyson fan heaters...
I had a real problem when the animal was at 219 plus take the 80 off but the stores would not honor it. So left it then the following day the price on the vac went up to 349!!
Just wasn't meant to be I guess

try dyson direct , they give the trade in allowance with the option to take trade in to local tip

Which link shows £80 trade in discount so that we can show them?

Went to Argos in croydon and claimed this deal yesterday! hot hot hot! went to Currys and they wanted to charge £249.99 AFTER trade in, must be an Argos glitch..

Hot hot! Heat added! Just picked mine up and store manager honoured the trade in as per advertised. Didn't need to argue but did need the manager to enter the code as apparently it shouldn't have been applied to this model! So technically it is an argos glitch!

I went to my Peterlee Argos store today and they would only give me £57, when I rang customer services complaining they basically said that they wouldn't give me any discounts and if the store were willing to offer £57 off well that's the best I'm going to get.

I got it for 169.99£ from Brentford, London, initially they reduced 57£ but I asked to speak to manager to show him Argos website and he honoured it.

After 40 minutes and 4 members of staff including the manager, they honoured the website and manually overrode the till which was trying to give me less than £80 discount. I got a DC50 for £169.99 in Barrow in Furness today but the manager said their website is wrong so this offer may end soon

Can you trade in any fan heater??

Thanks for the deal. I bought at DC50 animal for £219.99 manager had to be called over but was extremely helpful when I showed her the Argos website and it was in store on their stock check system. So HOT from me.

Managed to get one today and with £80 off. Thanks for the post.

Dyson is total junk

My old DC33 has 255aw suction power. This one has 140aw suction power.

Which one will clean my carpets/laminate flooring best?

Thanks

Just bought the last one in newbury store for £169.99. Had to show the manager the website and she manually override the price to honour the offer. Got a DC 50 animal as it defaults to that model. She did say its a misprice on the website.

Seems a very hoot deal. Has this got a 5 years warranty on it?

grrr why is my store (Staples Corner) the only one where they won't honor the website.... £57.15 trade in only. He said it was a mistake and should contact customer services.....
