It's on offer at Makros from Wednesday too at £99.99 + vat (£117.49). Obviously no delivery is available and you either need a Makro card or know someone who will get one for you.

I'm after a new Dyson, but i don't want one thats too heavy to carry up and downstairs, reading reviews on this model the weight of it is quite a problem,as its rather heavy.

Ive got a Dyson DC07. Also a bad back.

I find it easier to take the handle off and put the flat attachment on the bendy pipe to do the stairs.
Also its not heavy when you carry it up the stairs, just make sure you wrap the flex back round the back when you carry it.

If you have a Dyson do not neglect it!

If the filters gets blocked the motor will overheat and burn out, believe me I work on them frequently and in the past week ive seen 4 with exactly the same problem. For the motor and two filters fitted you are looking at around 110 quid!

I know the filters are expensive on these (esp. the hepa filter) but dysons are extremely fragile and if its a choice between replacing the filters or starving you are far better off just not using filters (you can wash some of them to some extent anyway). By time you realise the motor isnt how it should be its far too late. One actually caught fire as we were testing a suspected motor falure.
