I was just in my local Sainsbury's and saw these two on sale at the store entrance.

I think that makes both cheaper than anywhere else.

Damn it, these cleaners have been hard to get hold of everywhere... Regardless of what your experiences are, unfortunately OH and Mother swear by them. Debenhams disappointed, Matalans had run out, John Lewis put their price up.

I'll give them a call, before voting. Cheers OP

i got the dc14 blitz it from currys for 189.
still have them at that price too

Cold, Matalan are doing the DC19 for £99

That's a good price for the DC14 Animal.

I ended up with the DC25 Animal (ball version) for £197 from Comet but would have preferred the conventional DC14 version (Which was about £239 if memory serves me right, at Comet)

Also note that the Matalan stocked DC19 isn't the 'Allergy' version, I think, so that price comparison isn't valid. (Can't swear to that though)

It is a different model as is the Curry's one which looks like a Curry's 'exclusive' dyson.co.uk/sto…C14

I think the 'Henry Hound' (Homebase £155) is cheaper, sucks better and is much quieter than the Dyson (cylinder, not upright) and will probably last longer. That's my opinion based on experience with both vacuum cleaners.
Henry Hound £175 - 10% on everything - 2.5% VAT reduction = £155

Another deal sunk without a trace! I'm not doing very well recently.......

Ah, don't take it personally, animal, keep posting! It's not all about being successful, it's all about saving a few pennies.

BTW, my local Sainsbury's have sold out of the DC19, but have loads of the DC14. Just my luck!
