Dyson offer a five year warranty on their machines. I got one on with my DC14, just had to register online, & this DC19 is also covered according to Dyson Site >

What does Currys cover that's extra eg accidental damage, or is it just the same ? Whizzkids machine will have the 5yr Dyson warranty as well.

EDIT : Just read Currys link - that's just the Dyson guarantee not one they are offering - standard no matter where you buy the product

I believe Dyson offer the 5 year warranty not the retailer.

5 year warranty
Parts and labor guaranteed for 5 years on uprights and canisters.

Edit- already mentioned

nice price, been searching for this for over a week and decided to go for it via AMAZON £156.09 , mainly due to having £250 worth of vouchers given to me this is slightly better but an even better deal at discount electrics.

Ah well, in the end of the day it didnt cost me anything as I'd be wasting my vouchers on something stupid like more CDs/DVDs etc.
