Is there a larger capacity model in this type that has the "ball" technology?

Either way, as far as i have understood, this model is designed for portability (5.4kg) and ease of use around walls, corners, furniture etc. I dont believe it is trying to be or designed to be a large capacity vacuum cleaner.

The other benefits are collapsible handle so that its easier to store and detachable handle that doubles up as a handheld mode for the cleaner that allows you to vacuum walls etc.

I can confirm that I saw this in Basildon store on Wednesday. Did not buy as my old DC07 is much better.

Singy, not unless you cancel / return item first. Do currys price match?
  8. mrsofty's avatar
Currys will price match and give you 10% of the difference so would be cheaper. As long as it is in stock at a sainsburys within 20 miles I think from your currys. Details are on there web site. This is upto 7 days after purchase as well.

Never owned a Dyson, but I know they are usually expensive. Do you always end up buying a vacuum when you pop in for some milk? Definately a hot deal.

I have one of these. I'd only recommend it if you don't have much carpet at all, and not a light colour either. The suction isn't great for carpets, ok on flooring.

This is the baby one, will become a bit of a pain if you live in anything larger than a small flat, the DC25 is the the larger ball one.
If you don't have lots of furniture to negotiate around and have an average or larger floor space go for a standard Dyson, DC27, DC33 or the like.

Sold out Merton Sainsbury's - they got one on display, but shelf label says out of stock.
They did have the DC26 city there - £149.99. I think it was the last one though.

Yeah but was he out for milk or just out?. He could not be out out if he was out (to buy milk). And would you buy a Dyson wearing your slippers and dressing gown?...unless you had just popped out.

I had this one and just sold it on eBay as its not grt if you have anything bigger than a one bed flat to Hoover. I used to have to empty mine each time I Hoovered my downstairs which consists of 5 rooms plus a downstairs loo. The cable isn't very long either so I was constantly move it from plug socket, to plug socket. Drove me nuts!
