A very good deal if you're after a new vacuum cleaner. It comes with a 5 year guarantee too.

There are quite a lot of reviews to read on Comet's website.

Hope you like the deal!

Great Hoover, got it via this site in january when it was £187.

Thanks for this think I am gonna take the plunge and get it! The review are great have repped you x

Not even worth £129.00

Dire machines now, rehash of old machines that are just getting worse and sales from sucked in through the marketing hype. Dyson has a lower customer retention than Dirt Devil.

Next the Dyson Fan thats £200 is bloodly loud, pointless, in effective, and breaks when it falls over.

Which of course are cylinder vacuums, not really any good if you want an upright.

And unfortunately factually incorrect.....

I have the DC25 Overdrive and simply can not fault it. Way better than my previous top of the range VAX which in itself was a significant improvement over the electrolux it replaced.
Coupled with a 5yr warranty you simply can not go wrong. The very earliest Dysons may well have had reliability issues but you get a whole lot of peace of mind with their newer products and first class warranty.

Far too many dyson bashers out there, many of whom have no experience of the brand.

Is that you, Sir James? You vacuums suck! (or don't suck, as is usually the case)

20 years in the business and selling repairing them, and im no Dyson basher I just HATE it when people believe this bogus technology given to us by their lovely marketing people is meant to be VALUE and I can tell you it ISNT.

I sell Dyson's to absolutely everyone if they want one, sales a sale to me, but I would always and my sales guys always recommend a Miele or Sebo first because they are seriously the best vacuums you can buy and much better value than a Dyson.

In your statement about Cylinder vacuums isnt strictly true, put a turbo head on a Henry and its beats any Dyson and you can drop it down the stairs and it will still work, just knock a Dyson over and its probably bust.

The early Dysons were not the problem, upto the DC07 they were good sturdy machines reliable, after that quality seriously dropped, component and build quality, so lets take production to Malaysia to make it even cheaper and make more profit out of them.

You know why you get a 5 year warrenty with them, because it hides the ammount of failure's they get and keeps their expensive and not very good engineers on the road.

Lowest customer retention in the floorcare market, people have one discover its hype and poor quality and dont buy another one because they got stung

i think having the 5 year gaurantee is excellent it means that i have a decent hoover for 5 years x

i've owned 2 dysons, both worked well when they worked - and there's the problem - first one had 4 repairs and the 2nd one 7, all in the gurantee period. Leaned my lesson and now own a Sebo
