What a strange name. A musclehead used to be a derogatory term for someone with a rather low IQ.

Still is.

Well technically it is all muscle(suction) and no brain - so quite apt....

Not sure if this is the same as the DC28 (none musclehead) my Mrs got but if it is, steer clear. It is noisy, sucks like aesmatic OAP on her deathbed and needs ear defenders as the motor spins at high rpm to give some level of performance.

It's cheap for a Dyson but would be poor value at £100. My Mrs returned ours and the experience has put us off modern Dysons.

I've so fallen out of love with these dysons. Got one that looks like this, and it's suction didn't last, it didn't agitate the carpet enough

What's a good, reasonably priced alternative to these modern Dysons then? Preferably bagless / cyclone etc. Cheers.

I remember Ronnie Barker saying it in Porridge.
That's probably how old it is
It is a strange name for a hoover.
