I assume these are refurbished, but the small print says they come with a 12 month warranty. Supposed to be £299 new, but not sure about that, still seemed like a good price to me. Spotted in Clearance Bargains (Stanley). They had around 20 on the shelf this Afternoon.

It didn't say refurb anywhere, I just presume because of the brown box that's what they were, I've just opened mine and it looks brand new!

These clearance bargains are stupid theres like 3 shops in the whole country

They will be refurbished due to the fact they're coming with just 12 months warranty.

Brand new ones are 5 years.

A more realistic brand new price is around £200 for this model, so still a decent saving for a refurb

Not stupid if you live next to one (especially the one in this deal)

Some stock is simply what has been returned to regular Argos stores under their sales policy.
So not necessarily refurbished.

Most unfortunate that I live in an area that has 2 branches.

I presume you are somewhere between Darlington and Stanley Bargainfan? I love these stores, the one is Darlo has some great furniture and electric bargains.

Yes, Durham.
The Darlington store isn't a patch on the Stanley one. It's good for large items, such as furniture and white goods, but Stanley have all the smaller items too.
I've had some absolute bargains from Stanley.

I hope the OP is really sorry for not posting deals that are more local to you. I have benefited from many local deals.........I now realise how selfish that was

Hehe - well spotted Bigbil.

They have had a glut of Dysons this week, I have had two deals myself, bought the DC41 but the the DC50 came in even cheaper.

Mine was also brand new even though it is in brown box, had to assemble it.

Only live 10 minutes away so it costs me a fortune every month, great for buying other folks kids birthday presents for.

Hey Corner, the reason I went today is because I'd seen your deals and I wanted a Dyson, so when I got this one I thought I should post it. You're right you can easily spend a fortune in there!

Rubbish, get a Henry instead, best hoover ever. Oh and miele too are way better.

Go to dysons webpage and try and register it, you might be luck that it was just a return and if it's never been registered it will have the 5 year warranty

Champion, glad you you got one, I've just registered mine and it came with the standard 5 year warranty, bonus.

I drove 480 miles to Stanley and back at the weekend (might have been visiting relatives too but we all know why I really went) and there was a still a good selection of Dysons in stock. Picked up an new DC40 for £142.99 and there were also new/refurb DC25s, DC9s, DC41s etc. there from £100ish.
Top Deal!
