15 minute run time?...

plenty of time for a hand held, you'll not exactly be on your hand and knees do the whole carpet are you.

Good price! I have two of these. I got both from John Lewis for £99 one last year the other the year before. The battery on the older one only lasts for about 5 mins now which is long enough to clear the ash from around the woodburner daily instead of having to get the big Dyson out.The newer one is in the motor home and gets used infrequently and still goes for the full 10 mins

It probably isn't the battery. Have you always used it to pick up ash? If so give it a very very good clean and dry. You'll probably find it was overheating and shutting off.

It's sold as a dusting alternative. If you do a room at a time 15 minutes is fine. If however like me you clean the whole house it's not enough. And it's a pretty expensive bit of kit to suck up the odd cornflake at breakfast

Batteries are 20 to 23 quid on ebay.

With an 11month old and 4 year old, there are more than a few cornflakes needing sooked up.
The only time ours runs out of charge is when we forget to put it back on it's base between uses.
Although these have been cheaper on various deals, so not voting on this one.

Yes the motor speeds up as it gets more clogged. I put it through the dishwasher once a week but the battery life is definitely not as long as when it was new.

Fair enough

Sure it's worth the extra money for a v6?

I can recommend this thoroughly.Wall mount it and have the unit plugged in to a power source and you will have a great friend in the kitchen for any tidy or clean up job.Hoovers well and the battery time is ample -good for stairs and tight corners too.Plus, it's no fuss -no dragging cables and heavy unit from room to room or fumbling with sockets-hoovering is done is a third of of the time-easily.

Were these not going for 80 quid or so recently at Currys and JL. Found it.

15 minutes for this price ? will spend more time charging this thing. Expect decreasing to 6 /10 minutes after about 6 months. For me it's useless.

bought thanks, two toddlers and molting dog. very handy thanks
