They refused me too yesterday so was surprised that this morning it was that price
great price still £170 on Amazon . Alrhough mixed reviews on Amazon. Products durability seems to be questionable. 15 min cordless time. applications : cleaning up spills quickly or car vac unless you live in a broom cupboard limited application. At end of day it might be a bargain but if it's not up to the job it's a waste of money.

Thanks ordered! Will go great with my new car!

Had one for a couple of years now and battery lasts minutes rather than the 15 claimed. Most annoying thing for me is that it won't stay on for more than a few seconds in max setting. I keep having to take it apart and clean the battery connectors with a rubber, but only works again for a few more charges and have to repeat the process; link here.

Good price, but I'd never buy one again and you'll probably need the 2 year guarantee from John Lewis.
Just ordered. Mother in-law has one, it's great for small clean ups and cleaning the car. Original price was over the top in my view but at this price it seems worth it
And they're all gone

John Lewis is all myth and lies now, any excuse why not to price match and zero customer service when things go wrong :-(

Got this exact model only mine is all white. If it's still under warranty ring them up, they sent me a new battery when mine apparently failed, then it turned out to be just the contacts as the old battery works fine once I took it out and put it back!
How fussy are they with a family member picking up the reservation without my purchase card?
I can send them my proof of purchase mail and they can take their photo ID - will they be turned away without my purchase card?

Agreed, my neighbour had a lot of problems when his Panasonic tv went wrong. He ended up having to shell out £200 towards it.

From my experience they aren't that strict. Should be alright if your family member brings your drivers license or any other payment card with your name on.
John Lewis customer service isn't as good as I expected it to be. Reported a TV that was faulty just outside of 30 days and had to argue to get a refund - they were initially only offering repair.
John Lewis are not the same any more. Customer service is greatly improving at many places whilst theirs is deteriorating.
Also the 2 year warranty comes from Dyson, you don't need to buy from John Lewis to get this.
Think I got the last one, even though the deal was expired...had the conf email

Isn't this about the price they should be anyway seeing as My Dyson moved his factory to Malaysia or somewhere similar so he could make good of cheaper production costs. Hmmm, they are still very expensive to buy.
