Dyson DC34 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner - £119 In Store Tesco

Been on the lookout for a decent handheld cleaner recently and saw the Dyson DC34 for £119 in my local Tesco (Lee Mill, near Plymouth). Don't know if it's nationwide.

Next cheapest seems to be Ebuyer at £134.99. John Lewis are selling the older DC30 for £119 as a special offer currently, so the newer DC34 for the same price seems good to me.

Was this price in Beckton two weeks ago so it may be nationwide.

Purchased thanks

John Lewis also selling yje DC34 for £129.99

Might be worth getting one from John Lewis for the 2 year warranty too

is this the one where you charge for several hours and the charge lasts few minutes ?

Good deal, voted hot. It gets a two year guarantee as standard. Charge lasts enough to do a decent amount of cleaning. So much better than a standard handheld. Buy it once, buy it right.

149 on website... Dilemma... Worth a 20 mile round trip to the 'big tesco' to see if they've got the same deal?

This is a brilliant machine have had one for 3 years.

Great idea but the battery makes it pointless.Took mine back.

Phone up your local first rather than drive there ?

Hot however I would still recommend the dc34 animal over this if you have pets as it has the brush head accessory is powered and excellent for removing cat / dog hair from upholstery.

Charge wise:
15 min on low without powered brush head
13 min on low with powered brush head
6 min on high

We never use ours on high but we really never need it as low is enough for most jobs.

Charging is about 3 / 3.5 hours.

Dyson warranty and customer support has been excellent when our battery failed we just confirmed details with them and they sent a new one out without problems.

Would recommend one to anyone

Well due to the EU all electronic goods should now have 2 years.
Aside from that the Dyson warranty is 2 years on compacts and 5 years on uprights anyway.

Get an extension lead and a proper dyson, does the job a treat
