You think that's bad, I went for the bagless model.

Doesn’t even tell you what B and M? + corded is dead but good price.

Corded isn't dead. That's just what Dyson want you to believe.

It’s what i thought until I switched to cordless. Far better
Aren't dyson trying to transition to corded only?

Must be clearing out their old stock or something.

Thought I would check the price at John Lewis but they say no stock and unlikely to get any. Is this a discontinued item?

If it is in B&M that is highly likely.:{

I agree with you, much prefer cordless...but still has a long way to go before they're like for like... especially the price!

What do you mean?
Which version of DC40 is it?
Is this newer or older than the light ball?

The V10 apparently has 15 years of life due to new battery advances in the v10 I have the V6 does a damn good job

it’s just easier to get under them stubborn places and far lighter to move about and the power is really decent since i got my V6 I actually enjoy vacuuming

Looks like the original non ERP model. Personally I’d go for the Light ball Multi Floor. Quiter, more adjustability at the head, less flex in duct (body).
It’s not possible to market high power cored cleaners currently under EEC regs... as this was Dyson’s differential they have no choice but to sell battery as the future... which it will be, just early days at the moment...
Definitely stock in Bolton! You have to ask for them as they don’t put them out!
Store specific?
I got a gtech the other day. It's better than my cordless. So much easier.

Hehehehehe, I hear.

Ps.
It's not JUST the price to be considering in the corded/cordless 'criteria' now is it?, lol.

The 'POWER Vacuum' (yes, pun intended!, hahahahaha), is a definite definitive 'factor' to consider also, I'd have thought?.

As any time a former otherwise corded wall socketed 'Device' goes cordless, then there's ALWAYS a definate 'trade-off' to be had via it for sure!, I believe?.

Eg.
PC's (Mainframe, Miniframe, Half Tower, Full Tower, Desktop), when all initially came out more than 70+ Year's back, they could pretty much do anything right?.

BUT the minute they initially because Laptop's now, then ...

Eg.
The corded Telephone System in the house has been around for more than 100+ Years!.

But again, the minute they also became corded also, then ...

(And that was in-spite of the fact that cordless Mobile Phone's had ALREADY exploded throughout the UK hemisphere, by at least 1 Decade+ ... )

So there's a wee bit more to it than that of just the money aspect of it alone, I believe? (or it's that's way for me at least?).

There's always going to be some kind of 'trade-off' when such thing's initially become cordless like that (in their early Day's, etc?), guaranteed ...

But that's of the way of how the story inevitably stands for Today though?, lol.

What however happens for Tomorrow though, is for Tomorrow, as Tomorrow is literally yet to come ... :-D

I'm gonna keep my eye out for a decent deal on a V8. I do prefer to vacuum little and often so cordless suits me, plus have all hard floors downstairs. Can't beat a full size for a deep clean though.

self righteous cock

Ditto, simple.

I don't believe many on here have time to either waste, and/or entertain themselve on/with such fruitless/offensive things ...

(It's just a shame you choose not to share the same sentiments as some of the rest of us, yeh?).

Either way, sleep well and stuff?.

Later.
