Just looked them up and they are based in northern ireland and established in 1964 so it's all good

I've bought many things from Donaghey Brothers over the years. Very reliable company.

Good price. Although, we bought one of these last year and have to say, whilst it picks up well...they feel very heavy and flimsy and hard to push around in my opinion and I'm not a lightweight either (carpets are quite thick though) so might make a little difference. I was a little disappointed as I'd not used one before buying. I have used a family members Vax and gave to say, the Vax is much easier to manoeuvre.

That said, it came with a 5 year warranty, so am stuck with it for at least 5 years!

Have voted hot for the price.

It could be the suction on the thicker carpet that is making it hard to push around

Yeah seen that before i posted, it seems that Tesco go out of stock and never bother getting stock back in. If they do it's price increase time. Always the way

That's a strange combination?

There was a deal for this over Christmas for around £172 or so. So lower prices will come around.

Why? It's heavy to lift and push around...and the build quality feels flimsy.

That said the thick carpets could be making it harder to push around. The Hoover is great though, and not had any problems with the flimsyness yet! Our older dyson (2 rear Wheels) pushes round very easily in comparison, though the suction might be better on the newer.

Yes it could be. The Hoover is good apart from this. It does feel flimsy, but nothing has broken yet, so maybe they're harder wearing than they feel.

Can't go wrong with a Henry

Hi all, could anyone help me please with some advice?
Been thinking of a Dyson for a while now, currently have a little Henry but its awkward..

Would this be the recommended model for the below uses:
- cleaning car interrior
- upstairs/downstairs house (4 bedrooms)
- no pet (dog passed away last year )

Do NOT want a cordless, house too big for it.

Dyson definitely don't seem to have the build quality they used to have imo. If you're paying that sort of price I'd personally go for a Miele C3 (or C2) cylinder or a Sebo.

I've shopped with donaghy bros many times always have best prices

gone up to £196
