I bought one a couple of weeks ago (not animal) for £169 and it's a damn fine cleaner. This is an excellent price for an excellent cleaner

Great price. Just bought one. Thanks OP.

Bought two Vax's off the bay for just under £50 the pair thanks to hukd.

My experiences tell me Dyson's are over priced.

Great price, wish I could afford one

Great deal, just bought mine! Thanks

Having had a Dyson for almost 5 years, I can certainly say it was worth every penny

Brilliant find... just ordered one. Thank you

Cheaper than it's ever been on Amazon.. Voted hot and ordered one. Thanks op

Going to kick mine for a bit hope it brakes so get can have one of these bad boys

Can't get one as just upgraded Dyson through trade in but kicking myself now and voting hot on this!

Had a Dyson, Numatic Henry and Vax over the years.
Dyson's are overpriced for what they are/do.
Would go:
1 Numatic 2 Vax 3 Dyson

Still a hot price though.

I've had Dyson's for years also. From the Dc01 to my last one being the Dc07.

Luckily for me my neighbour, an ex International footballer, gave me his £39,99 cleaner he and his wife had originally bought as they was heading back home abroad. It still had two years warranty on it and it opened my eyes for sure.

Keep buying your Dyson's, tis your right to do so. But even at £199 or whatever, you are paying for a name. So i'll stick to the more economical cheaper brands, even if i do need earplugs when using the Vax

It's all about that fictitious mark up i suppose. (_;)

Dyson are living off their name these days, they're nowhere near as good as they once were and are cheaply made too!

Wow good price! Does this mean that there might be a new model on the way?

Now if only this had been live 3 weeks ago. Fixed ours but would have liked a new one.

Are these sold out? It says 'Where to buy' not 'buy'

Looks like sold out unable to add to basket!!!

Out of stock!

Didn't last long. Still it saved me £200!

Out of stock

this is brilliant price over £400 everywhere else like tesco, argos etc

OOS

Had added it to basket before went out of stock so managed to get it. Thanks for posting.

Here is what I think might have happened. There was a £120 code on the go for ages (see this deal) and when they reduced the price they didn't end the code.

Smashed it lol thanks op. 2 on way one for me one for the highest bidder

Why should I be banned for having a photo of myself and for buying 2 items instead of 1? Money makes the world go around. I'm sure if you had £400 spare and had the opportunity to get this dyson for prob £120 after selling the second you would do it? Pffft

Also before I go to bed I contribute to this site more than a lot of people who come on here who are racist rude and are typically asholes but I don't moan because if I don't like something I read I get on with my life instead of crying to the cyber police. Grow up. So why don't you spend more time getting with yours. Or maybe I should complain that you think just because I have autism I deserve to look like my profile picture. I never asked to be born with a disability but I also don't ask for people to point it out and say that it suits me to look that way. Rant over

Thank you op, we have had our dyson for years, had the extending pipe fixed earlier this year and that was a decision whether to fix or to purchase a new one. Then the handle cracked and a few other small issues and I could tell it would only be a short time before it gave up the ghost, so the timing of the deal was perfect for me, also our existing one was an animal, so matched our needs. Thank you to ste7ieboy, for the free accessory promotion, looks like Christmas has come early for me (and those that got the cheap iPad air deal....sadly not me!).

To all on HUKD, keep up the bargain hunting, you keep me and my family going!, obviously sometime a few luxury purchase and impulse buys and a big thank you.

Personally I would go for a Miele - better suction, German engineering and 5 year warranty for £30. Carpet is extremely clean each time. Purchased mine from John Lewis. Tempted by the G-Tech cleaner but stuck with Miele.

Dont the Meile vacs need bags? Seems outdated to use bags.

Damn! Been waiting for a good Dyson deal too!

the Vax U91-MA-P Air Pet Multicyclonic Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner is £100 with a six year warranty. is it comparable/good value?

Yes the Miele need bags but they use 1-2 bags per year at around £2.50 per bag for the official bags. You get 4 for £10 at John Lewis.

But the suction and cleaning power is well worth it. Ask for the Miele, Dyson and G-Tech products to be demonstrated and you will see the clear difference.

The picture is not of you tit.

Not questioning the relative merits of any of the cleaners, but 1 to 2 bags a year? Really?! Either you don't need to vacuum much, you live in a tiny house with no pets or kids, the bags are immense or the thing doesn't suck up much dirt!

In our average sized 3 bed house with kids and dogs we can fill our Dyson gets up so much crap we have to empty it every other day!

Ah, just thought, been so long since I used a vacuum with a bag. Are they reusable?
