Thks for sharing. Has anyone tried to stack the Argos £35 promo code on top of this? We have this model and as far as I am aware, the DC44 is the animal version - there used to be a similar non-animal version but it is no longer listed on the Dyson website. This is great for cat hair tho I find the accessory pack superfluous but I am not about the turn down a free gift. My Quidco and TCB are both offering 1.5% and 1.51% cashback respectively but that's a small thing compared to the saving I just made. My own machine cost us £240 on the same deal nearly 2 years ago. Thanks, OP.

To be honest, I paid for it up front using their Fast-track service so no questions were asked about the price in store incase it's a glitch in the system.

I made the same mistake at first, called Customer Services who said to show your Fast-track details in shop and they will give you the accessory pack for free without having to re-order, which they did.

Hi, I just bought the item, together with the special offer toolkit, and applied the FURN20 promo code. It said code applied. I paid and chose collect in store option. However when I check how much has been taken off my card (it hasn't come through yet but I can see the difference between my available balance and my actual balance) it shows that £229 is coming off my card. Also when it went through my card security it showed that the charge was £229. Have I done something wrong?

I did this monday with tool kit, paypal and fastrack - picked it up today. Reciept that is emailed through from argos shows full price but def only paid £183.99 on paypal (which you can see at the time of order) happy days cheaper than i could find anywhere else

I tried on Tuesday, and put code in, it said it had been accepted but no deduction. Processed the payment anyway to collect in store but checked my statement today and £229 has been deducted. I've emailed Argos but no reply as yet. If they don't come back and say they'll reduce I just won't collect so they'll have to give me a full refund.

Just tried and ordered and the discount doesn't come off at any stage including PayPal . Tried on a totally different model and that also states the discount has been applied and nothing comes off. The price is 229.99 unless anyone has proof that the extra discount has been taken off

Just spoken to Argos following my email to them last week. Apparently the FURN20 code or HOME20 codes should have never worked so they won't honour it :-(
