Argos is £319.99, and even with the free £70 Argos voucher, it will effectively be £249.99

Tesco £320

Sainsburys £319.99

This is a great deal.....in about a week.
Going on this new bandwagon, let me post that in a couple of months, some stuff will be half price in Sainsbury's, some other stuff will be scanning at 1p in Tesco and at Christmas, there's these really amazing deals at Gamersgate. Oh and don't forget the half price Easter Eggs after Easter.

Better late than never.

Take no notice of the 5 year guarantee, believe me,when you ring up to report a fault they just give you the usual "wear and tear"spiel

Let us hope that this doesn't get as hot as a Dyson Heater;

I have had this model for over 3yrs. Its suction which is very good is still as good as the day we purchased it. They are not totally maintenance free, you have to wash the filter out every now and then but no real hassle. The motor failed after about 2.5 years. I rang the helpline and an engineer came to the house 2 days later and replaced it, very efficient customer service.

I thought my DC32 animal was the dogs ***** until it burnt out after 2 years. We have dogs and cats but that's why we bought a Dyson Animal. They came out and repaired it but I had to wait 2 weeks for the appointment. In the meantime I bought a Miele S700 Cat and Dog (same as S6220 and cost about £180) and IMO it's waaayyy better than the Dyson. Insanely powerful suction (lifts the carpet when using the Max setting) and doesn't look like a kids toy. It uses bags but genuine bags can be found cheap on Amazon and emptying is much cleaner than the bagless Dyson.

My Dyson is about 16 years old and still going strong, I have had it repaired once for £70 (i think it was) but that covered one call out and a couple of jobs at the same time.

Obviously not this model though, I think its the first upright they brought out

would hate to go back to bags, and it still sucks like new

I love my Dyson had one for 10 years but was recalled and dyson replaced it no problem they are great.

Hot price, got a Dyson already... Best hoovers money can buy!

I borrowed my Daughters Dyson upright cleaner a while back, my own old cleaner had given up the ghost.

I ordered a Bissell from Amazon for £49.99 delivered, I went over my carpet that I had just cleaned with her Dyson, the results were astounding, clearly her Dyson was inferior to my new lower cost Bissell.

So much for the Dyson hype.

That's absolute nonsense . Have owned a few dysons over the years and called them at least 3 or 4 times . They have sent an engineer each time . The last time was January , when my daughter broke the release peddle on my upright dyson animal . They came and replaced the part even knowing that this was not an actual fault , free of charge . Love them or hate them I can not fault their customer service . Most of my family and friends own dysons and they have had the same great service from them . So comments like yours are totally untrue.

i have just bought this dc47. without doubt the best vacuum cleaner i ever had. my carpets look like new. far superior to Vax and Henry.

Good price

Do order this online or reserve it - or just turn up at the store and hope for the best?

i guess you have to convince yourself of that, after having spent £100 more than a henry. let me guess: you have an iphone5s too?

How do you know its untrue?do you know me?no,so step back from your attitude,I have rang them 2 times and both times they were adamant it was wear and tear when it wasn't,then tried to sell me a new part!Bought a miele now so good riddance to dyson and their terrible service.

Why are otherwise sane people so against individuals who like a brand. If you want Dyson or Apple, it's fine by me.

I bought the Dyson DC47 a few weeks back from Tesco. It's an extremely powerful little thing and I'm really pleased with it but will definitely need to buy a new head as the one that comes with it isn't great on carpets when you have pet hair. The Carbon Fibre Floor Tool costs around £60

Does anyone know how much stock each store will have to sell??

Just a reminder to people that the daily record and mirror will have a £5 off £40 spend aldi voucher in it that morning so buy the paper first and use the voucher against the Dyson and then buy a 2nd paper if you are going to do your weeks shopping later for a 2nd voucher.

Macclesfield had 10 delivered and we just got the last one, or so i've been told the missus parents had to get it

3 or 4 left at Selly oak Birmingham.

3 left in Lancaster Aldi

3 left in the Leigh (Lancs) store as of tonight

Got the last one in Swansea today. Thanks for posting, haven't tried it yet but it must be better than the old piece of junk that needed replacing.
