why is this not hot or sold out? The Dyson V6 is a renamed DC58. I bought one and I already have a Dyson V6 Animal. Thanks op.

Because it's not that good in the first place.
Does this have the longer attachment aswell or is it just the shorter one?

If not can the longer one be purchased for it?
Hot!
Just ordered. Wooooooop. Very very sick deal
I take it this model does not have the long tube like the others
ordered, thanks OP
Whats so special as available at Currys or Pc world at the same price.
Might be able to make the tube out of a few empty toilet roll tubes to make this into a DC59.

Because it's not that good in the first place.

It's a bloody awful machine! The trap door flies open if you don't close it firmly and the whole machine clogs up very easily and then is very difficult to clean, and the rubber seal round the transparent waste container leaks, so dust builds up there and the brush clogs up and requires a full disassembly. The purple filtery thing inside really needs to be removed to be cleaned as that gets dust and fluff under it (and in it!) but you can't remove it without a special tool which isn't supplied.

Whats so special as available at Currys or Pc world at the same price.

OOS for delivery @ Currys
I'm always surprised when reading bad comments about these portable Dysons.
Ordered, great deal

Not available for delivery at Currys for those that don't have a store nearby, albeit I doubt that would be many. Also, JL probably pips it on customer service.

Looks like the **** Intruder from Top Secret
Seems an odd thing to buy when the v6 isn't too much more and so much more useful. Unless I'm missing something?
heavy discounting for Dyson - think they are still overpriced and after several cycles the battery goes then fork another £50 on replacement...don't see the value...doesn't matter just buy anyway oO
ordered - good price

I disagree. I often move away from Dyson another brand always end up coming back. You can't beat a Dyson.
Does it come with the extention pole?
Late to the party. Heat added
Ordered the dc34, might get his one as well...which is better
Clean deal chanchi, heat added

My battery still good on DC43H a year on.
Pretty sure you cant use the electric powered motorised heads on these as there are no power socket things where you plug in the attachments

This is way better - more powerrful and longer lasting battery. The 34 was one of the first of their cordless models.

It's also 30% more expensive so shouldn't be considered on equal footing.
I went for the DC34 as it does a good enough job for occasional vacuuming.

Apart from anything else, they always seem to leak around the rubber joints. The uprights are really bad in this respect.

Yes you can buy the wand and cleaner head direclty from dyson. Search for DC59. The wand is £50 And the cleaner head is £60.

There are many accounts on Amazon that the DC59's motorised head is compatible with this DC58, so I've ordered on strength. If not, it can always go back.

Bought this one as well, so I'll take one back...or might just cancel the first order
Oh I bought one for 179.00£ on Tesco + Clubcard vouchers.... I wish I didn't use it yet

The mini motorised tool is powered through the connectors in the wand cuff.
