I was tempted by the DP04 after seeing the £125 gift card offer they have. A quick google and I found it for £340 at Donaghy Bros in Northern Ireland.

Put through a price match request as an in store deal (JL won’t match some websites) and they’ve approved it. I looked at the Ts & Cs of the JL promo and it can be used in conjunction with the price match.

If you do it against a store rather than the online option and you can do it that way. I googled the address and it’s a northern Irish address. I’ve price matched against them before and it’s worked well.

Hope this helps - let me know if you need any further assistance
Please can anyone who’s voted cold advise why? This is an absolute steal!
I’ve put my price match in. Fingers crossed! Thank you.

Should go through alright I didn’t even have to go back with any further info 😃
I stopped buying dyson fans when my £15 wickes fan was 10 times quieter and kept me cooler then the £400 dyson fan, as for the purifier id rather buy Honeywell as it performs very close to the dyson for a fraction of the cost the only problem is its not as pretty to look at as the Dyson.

Heres a link of the dyson vs Honeywell purifier.

Theres always one
If Dyson dropped the price to something “sensible” (but “aspirational”) then surely they would sell so many more...,£175-£199 would be the right price point for these fans.

A friend has one of these and it was as ineffective as everyday fans in cooling her place during the hot Thursday we had.

Can you advise a similar quality air purifier for a better price?

Air purifier lol
Do you really fall for that marketspeak?
The air is full of Benzene especially if you live in a city and its killing you no Dyson or other will save you!

I recommend this one though since you ask - only £3.20 not £320!
Its even got a water skoosher to keep you cool.
I can highly recommend it i used it in Croatia last year!

Don't forget to factor in the regular cost of replacement active carbon filters and hepa filters, these look quite expensive at ~ £80 a pop.

Cheers for the reminder. From what i've googled they last 6 months for 24/7 usage. If I use it, say, 6 hours a day, that will 2 years, which I don't think is too bad at all.

Which fan did you purchase from Wickes? I have fans already but they're very noisy, so would definitely be interested in replacing them with (cheap) quiet alternatives.

Because it's a FAN... ridiculous price just because of the name. Sure it might look stylish but I'll stick with my misting pedestal fan that will actually make some difference to the humidity, for a fraction of the price.

Stylish?
Hmm i think it looks like sex toy myself or one of those kids fairy liquid soap balloon wafters?
According to a recent tv programme these things actually cost Dyson £12 to build - amazing markup dontya think!

the 12inch desk fan was the the quietest.
Ultimately, this is a deal if you’re wanting this item. It’s rarely in the sale so to be able to combine the gift card with price match makes this a steal - I guess it’s the same as Apple deals on here

It might be cheap for that model but it's still an overhyped glorified fan. I would sooner put my £££ towards a decent AC unit

It's not really a fan, its an air purifier (well until you decide you are fed up with the cost of new filters) . If you wanted a fan, you'd probably be better off with a cheap tower fan (likely quieter and move more air), and if you want to keep cool, at this price you'd definitely be better off getting an air con (by con, I mean conditioner, not dyson).

Air purifiers do sell for quite high prices, not sure why though, I made a high volume one, although admittedly only to remove wood dust particles for the workshop, cost about £20.

Here's a project for a $25 dollar one, compared with a $800 one:-

Your correct, can’t exactly remember with dyson model they tested it against and I think it was on the gadget show, they tested a low cost fan £12 against a £350 dyson, they tested air strength, sound, distance, room temp, plus other tests and the low cost one matched the dyson in every test except one, and in that one the £12 was better, so clear proof how a brand name sucks people in
There has been a run on these Dyson fans since the product placement and endorsement by her Mag and Boris!
Cold from me.. £125 cash back on Dyson fan already posted.. hotukdeals.com/dea…399
Wow, this fan had stupidity tax included. It is a fan. You can buy something for a fraction of the price that will work just as well. If you have that sort of cash to throw away then I suggest use it for something far more worthwhile. Why not spend £25 in a fan and the rest on food for a for a food bank or donate to a charity or something. This is a seriously stupid way to waste money when kids are starving in my opinion.

Really? You realise that’s a different product and the reason this is a deal is because it’s got £59 off the rrp through price match and then the voucher? I guess there’s no pleasing some people
