Been looking at these for a while but couldn't justify the £400 brand new price tag. £199.99 for a refurb plus 4% cashback via TCB seems a pretty good deal. So should be around the £192 mark after cashback.

Use code P20DYSON on eBay checkout to get it for £199.99.

Also, available in Iron/Blue for £239.99 so £191.99 after discount code.

I've become quite disappointed in James Dyson, after revolutionising the vacuum cleaner industry what's he come up with since? A fan, a hand dryer and a hairdryer, all of which are very nice (they should be for the price) but hardly world changing tech. These days he seems to just reinvent things that in all honesty don't really need reinventing, rather than creating something genuinely new and innovative. Still, he's worth a few quid more than me so he must be doing something right :-)

Yeah. Agreed. Will be interesting when he gets in making cars which apparently he's going to do.

I've got 30 days to try this out anyway and if it's no good send it back for free via PayPal.

I think I'll aspire to this rather than a Dyson electric car ;-) …I think I'll aspire to this rather than a Dyson electric car ;-) http://www.jaguarlandrover.com/news/2017/09/jaguar-e-type-zero-most-beautiful-electric-car-world

Great if you just want to pose! 170 mile range with 6 hour recharging isn't really what you want in a Gran Turismo!

In 2013 he won something for the wave power generator but not heard much about it after that unfortunately.

having watched mr Dysons factory/prison the other night on TV i wouldn't touch him with a barge pole

He used to support British industry, but that went out the window when he started manufacturing abroad for more cash in his pocket.

From what I've read he employs 3,500 in the UK and 5,000 outside. TBH, that's pretty good.

Have you done some research into why, rather than critise him on a shopping forum.

One of the reasons is all his expansion plans before he moved some of his manufacturing offshore was due to the local council refusing planning permission for expansion, something they attempted and failed to do far to many times.

Here is one of many links, do some reading.

Not sure. I added 2 Nov as the end date but I've just edited it again so hopefully will appear live. Mine got delivered today. Nice bit of kit. Properly try out this evening.

I bought one,had it delivered yesterday.
Not really impressed with it.Takes an age to warm up the room...not even worth a £100 never mind £200.
I have a small fan heater that cost a tenner that does a quicker job warming the room.
Massively unimpressed by this, may look nice, but I expect it will be going back under the 30 day free returns rule
