This deal speaks for itself, it is £10 cheaper than everywhere else that has price matched Dyson on this. That means a saving of £160.

The AM09 is 75% quieter than the AM05, with streamlined air channels for reduced airflow turbulence. It is the only fan heater with Quiet Mark accreditation. It also has a sleep timer, which be programmed to turn off after pre-set intervals ranging from 15 minutes to 9 hours.

Other features:

  • Remote control - full control from anywhere in your room
  • One touch oscillation control makes this silent fan super easy to use
  • AM09 standing fan pivots on its own center of gravity, staying put without clamping
  • Bladeless - no fast-spinning blades or visible heating elements
  • Minimal design makes it super easy to clean

This is my first deal (I had another one but it was removed due to the merchant on eBay not being well known) so go easy. JC Campbell may only have stores in Northern Ireland if you want to collect in store.

This is classic DYSON speak for it's still louder than most conventional fans on any speed other than the lowest setting.
Trust me I know.

Even at £219, the build quality is poor with cheap plastic. You are paying for a fan which is marketed well for design, yet where it really matters is the operation of this unit, it falls short by a wide margin.

Good point but its not in stock at JL currently. Not sure when it would come back in and not sure if they'd price match and not sure not sure not sure so I ended up ordering it from these guys. Shipping is free and should be within 3-7 (working) days.

JL does a 2 year guarantee on this, not sure what JC Campbell's is. Nor Dyson's for that matter.

As for whether it is a good fan, I have one already and I think they're good. Not for everyone mind you, which I understand. Kind of like the Apple of home appliances so splits opinion a lot. I recognise that they're expensive but it's the best blow heater I've owned. Some people prefer the £10 ones from argos that look like a toaster with a fan inside but I prefer these.

lolz I voted hot on my own deal and it went down in heat by 2. I guess that's how it works then! Curiosity bit the Schwifty.

Erm, nope, they're quieter than most conventional blow heaters on any speed. I guess it's your word against mine. Mind you, you're not wrong about how they're not quiet. I guess the AM05 was loudy loud pants mcgroo.

Ah is that how that reduction thing is supposed to work? So its about how much cheaper it is than the next black friday offer and not how much cheaper this one is compared to the regular price?

That's probably a less useful way of doing it as someone will possibly think they'd only have to pay £10 more next week when actually there is a good chance they'd have to pay £180 more. Still, a lol is a lol and it's my first deal so why not? I'll just lol it up too!

Bought one from currys as 229. I agree it's way to loud and underpowered for the price. Doesn't feel quality either. Looks good but save your money and go for a fan and heater at a quarter of the cost that will perform just as well.

Heat. Let’s get schwifty

My reply was a response to someone else and I think you've read it the wrong way (I voted hot on your deal).
It's OK, people tend to get a tad defensive when it's their first deal.

LoL I can vouch for that

Cold !

We have one of these at work, and it's rubbish. Not sure which model exactly but it's one from this range. Was £300-400 when we looked it up. All it does is recirculate room temp air about when it's on the cold setting. Sorry, but this is naff.
