Looks like it's the same price with all the major retailers but Boots is offering £60 worth of Advantage Points! Good for Boots card holders, and even better if you go through TopCashback etc.

£300 for a hairdryer (shock)... Why?

If you've ever used one then you'd realise why!

James Dyson & his team do not get the recognition they deserve, their products are so well engineered and so far ahead of the competition! ... Look at all the high end vacuums around these days, they've all followed his lead ...

As you’re already soapboxing.
Wouldn’t buy anything of his again.
Moved his factories abroad to save money, then campaigned to leave the EU.

The stuff is overpriced to pay for the “engineering”. If the other companies could get away with charging so much, they’d be innovative as well.
Someone has to make products normal people can afford
bloke's already a billionaire and is still charging hundreds of pounds for cheap plasticy things that break all the time.....great deal for air heads !
That dyson bloke is greedy, if these were 80 quid (still probably making 50 quid profit!) they sell 10 fold, most stuff they make is like the DeLorean car.... over priced tat...

Don't buy it, sorry
Fantastic hairdryer. Worth every penny. Doesn’t dry your hair out and leaves feeling lovely and smooth. Also dries hair quicker. Doesn’t usually get discounted so this is a good way to get it cheaper.

you might want to invest in a better engineered spell checker, or an education in English literature and grammar

After having one of his hoovers that promised never to loose suction and did also bad quality parts I won't be buying anything from his hugely overpriced products again

Dyson have never made Hoovers!
Have one as gift. Definitely NOT worth the money. Like my old £30+ Panasonic better...
If you have the money and can afford and want it then can see no problem in doing so, well beyond my means so wouldn't .
Another hot air deal from boots.

That’s right both hoover and dyson are vacuum cleaners. By the way had to laugh I typed dyson and auto correct changed to dysentery

Yes, that's because they sell but what sells well aren't always the best.
If someone can find a better deal than this I’d like to see it. Voted hot.
I have just bought this as well.. my wife I’ll be happy. I knew not to post this here. This site is called hot uk deals. Getting £60 back IS a deal. Dyson and Apple are always slated here. but like I have just said it is a deal.
I think this makes a nice change - a lot of Dyson products suck.
If your in the market for buying one (been told by Santa) then yes it is a good deal as you never find many discounted much. Having the cashback helps ease the high price of these things.

So many contradictions. I have to question if you actually know what hairdryer is for.
Surely this is a mistake? It must be £60 for the hairdryer and £299 worth of points......;0)
Aw man, I got this offer two months ago but didn't get the bag for the hairdryer with it, if only I'd waited
this is the iphone of hairdressing ?

I don't like there newer vacuums, they feel cheep and no where near as well built as there first few models and no hair dryer is worth 300 quid no matter how good it drys your hair but if sheep will pay then they will sell at stupid prices.

There's a very good Panasonic one for around 30 quid on Amazon 😁
Good deal as is difficult to find discount on these. Used a similar deal last Christmas to get one for my wife. She thinks its ok, it certainly looks cool. Is expensive for a hairdryer, but it's Christmas

Not sure why so cold. We absolutely should pay whatever Dyson asks for his Malaysian sweatshop produced plastic on which he won't pay his taxes to contribute to the country he lives in.

I’ve used one and really don’t understand the hype.

My hair dried no quicker, felt no softer and acted no differently to when it was dried with a £20 hairdryer.
Is there a code you apply? Or is it an I store deal??
