Look, aside from a 'look' or a brand, can anyone tell me how this justifies the price? Seriously, what does it do that others at a quarter of the price doesn't?
Why the hell did I get a notification for this, im bloody bald, bold as well but not enough to buy this thing

They're very good powerful hair dryers... yes they dry your hair like all …They're very good powerful hair dryers... yes they dry your hair like all the others, but these do it quicker

So for 300 quid, it can save a few minutes on each hair wash?

Are you saying I can save a few hundred quid, AND keep the wife busy for longer?

Win/win.
£275 quid for a hairdrier....

Insane.

From the reviews I read, it does nothing to justify it's price.

Mr. Dyson needs people to buy this overpriced tat so he can add to his vast stock of countryside he owns in the U.K., ready to sell on at huge profit to developers when the time comes.
I was bought one as a gift. I do not rate it at all. It is awkward to use as the heat settings are on the barrel itself rather than the handle as every other hairdryer has. I don’t even think it dries my shoulder length hair any quicker than any other dryers I’ve owned. I would save your money IMHO.

you probably put keyword "dryer" as in may be tumble dryer ??
It’s a good price considering it comes with a case, which usually has to be bought separately! That said, I couldn’t justify the price last year so I purchased the Remington air3d which is about £100 and very similar. If someone really wants one of these though, this is a decent price!
Could be more useful to sit in front of the following to dry hair and it can heat and cool a room (supposedly) making it more functional for a little more: Dyson AM09 Hot + Cool Fan Heater

Salty...
Bitter much

It's a business, he's not forcing people to spare their cash,
£300 for a hairdryer.. more money than sense!
Xiomi do the a better dryer for 30 bucks. And it's not made by Dyson so will obviously last a lot longer.
While I should join the wise to moan and bang on about it being a rip-off and priced for fools. These dryers are rather good and the price is the best at this moment. I suspect they will dip for Black Friday but nothing is guaranteed eh.
If you were thinking of buying this, please buy something for a tenth of the price & give the rest to charity. I'm pretty sure you'll feel *so* much better!
garbage offer!!! It blows air!!! Worth £20-£30 BTW how come when I voted this cold it's rating went up!!!! hmmmmmm

yep, you're not wrong. they've done a great job of brainwashing folk. (with all of their products)
Nothing like the Dyson hate mob that follow and comment on every single Dyson deal

Almost as good as the Apple mob, if there’s a brand people can’t afford, there’s a mob for it

I have one and it’s transformed my hair, doesn’t dry it out, I have thick unruly hair and it’s brilliant for it! I did have the airwrap too which was £450 but couldn’t get on with it!!
HUKD effect not happening here.

Not voting hot or cold but can confidently say my wallet is staying in my pocket for this one!

Pro-Tip: Put all your spare money into Global Index Trackers (S&S ISA). The long-term rate of return will be much better than that of products for your hair and your future self will thank you for it.

Thank you I'm going to look Into that.
If you are actually interested in this (not here to pass comment either way), it might be worth knowing that Dyson are selling their usual colours on their own site, but with an included display stand (which holds the nozzles/diffuser and the hair dryer itself) for £299. The include display stand retails for £65.

Also they are asking £329 for hairdryer + display stand + presentation case (including the blue and gold one which comes in a red case).
I placed an order for this with the split-6 selected however, haven't been charged, no order confirmation email and on my account it says I've payed the whole £270 for it..! Does anyone split payments and use QVC? Does it just take a while for the purchase to go through?
