You can get a Dyson Supersonic refurbished hairdryer in white*, fuchsia*, or purple* for £229.99 online at Dyson when you enter the Blagged code MSE10 at the checkout.
The Supersonic hairdryer normally costs £299.99 brand new, but Dyson occasionally, like now, offers refurbished models for £239.99, and our code gets an extra £10 off the refurbished price. Dyson says these models are restored to 'as good as new' – see more on what refurbished means below.

There are 4,000 available in total, and the offer will end at 11.59pm on Sun 7 June or when all hairdryers have been sold, whichever's first.

For sure though if you're looking for this item it's a very good price so thank you for posting. Out of genuine interest though what is this hairdryer like to use as there must be a significant difference to a conventional one?. All the best!

I bought my wife one for Christmas and it's one of those things that she really appreciates when we stay over somewhere and need to borrow a regular hairdryer. My wife's hair is relatively thin but she can get away 9/10 times without straightening after this dryer, as opposed to always straightening it with a regular one. Its quiet and has a less obstructive noise so doesnt bother me as much if I'm still in bed. It drys hair noticeably faster, we use it on our dog too, and it's better balanced than front heavy hairdryer. Is it worth the price? If it lasts more than 5 years then yes as it's used every day. Is it 10 times better than a regular £22 dryer, probably not at face value, but I'm pretty sure my wife would want another if it disappeared tomorrow.
Maybe credit to Moneysavingexpert’s weekly email for the code OP? They’re the ones who have blagged it and maybe they deserve a bit of website traffic as well, as another helpful site?

Or crap like, ‘I’m bald but you can get these 20 quid at Argos’ voted cold - What are you looking at the listing for!!! Never considering if there’s a better price for the identical product.
2 golden rules; never post a Sports direct deal, unless it’s gold bullion’s for a fiver, or smoking / vaping related product!! These deals go down like a tramp on chips.
But keep on posting, it’ll help others!

Thank you so much means a lot to all those who acknowledge that people who post deals don't get paid to do it and simply do it out the goodness of their hearts. Oh wait do people get paid for this or something because I have received any money? Serious question BTW.

To answer your question I've been told by a few users that it's the best they have ever used. I hope this helps some of you guys out. Thank again!
i have the gold
version. love my one.
Amazing hairdryer and amazing price , sadly some people will see this and say “ I WOULD NEVER SPEND THIS MONEY , £300 for a hairdryer , I can get one for £30 from Argos” , people who have a mentality like this over any high end product posted on HUKD , don’t deserve to comment

Uses purified air not dirty air to dry hair , has regulating heat control to prevent damage to hair , gives it a blow dry finish , you cannot beat Dyson

Voted hot! I know Dyson is expensive and for most will make no sense to pay so much for a hair dryer. However, after years debating if is worth to spend that much, Ive got one for my wife. She said it is far better than what she had before. But it's 8 times more expensive too. I've paid £240 for hers, this was last month, brand new but with European plug.
I vote hot, as this is the best price I came across, however we should take in consideration it is cheaper because is refurbished. Sadly, I am pretty sure my hot vote will not help much. Posting at midnight a Dyson deal at this price is really not a good idea. Even brilliant deals get cold when posted at midnight.

I absolutely love the write up though so thanks I appreciate it. Currently have this foul mouthed thing on another deal I posted that keeps talking about periods. So I've decided to assume he either hasn't had any action for a very long time or he has been traumatised by his mother at some point in his sorry life for something of that nature. I mean seriously I don't understand people on this. Most are friendly and professional considering no one actually gets paid for it. Well I don't anyway.Buy some are just rude and vile. It's just a way of helping one another which is what I have tried to do all my life in the emergency services. But some folks are so rude it's crazy!

No problem. Getting cold or hot votes is not important. What's important is to help others. Sadly, lots of people when they see cold, they vote cold and they don't even bother to read the deal. Also, lots of people only look at deals over 100 hot or at the highlights of the day. Obviously, a cold deal will not reach these and sadly, people will miss the deal.

You don't have to feel discouraged posting deals just because others vote cold. Some of my best deals got cold, while some of my rubbish deals generated heat. I can tell you that on most of my cold deals, Ive actually purchased the specific products and I am really pleased with them.
But for future reference, don't post at midnight😁. And bear in mind, lots of people hate Dyson and especially hair dryers at this price. And probably the majority in here are male and will not have an interest in such products, so will vote cold.
To me, this is not cheap, but I've paid more and I think this is the best price I ever came across.

You realise it was posted after midnight as it’s a direct lift from the MSE weekly email which arrived then, with the description copied and pasted above?
Still worth posting as it appears to be the cheapest price for these currently in the UK.

I meant to quote @sheffield788 who doesn’t seem to realise why you posted the deal at this time, “for future reference don’t post at midnight.”

No I just came on here to see if someone had posted it yet after I saw the code in the email, and found your thread. If you hadn’t posted it someone else would have sooner or later, good deal for the item given it’s usual price.

Oh okay. Thank you. As I said I'm still learning so sorry.
I got one for £300 lasted a little over 2 years and the motor went. Out of warranty. Certainly not worth £300 for 2 years. Got a silvercrest one from lidl for £15 I would say it's pretty close on terms of power. Dyson has the edge but certainly not worth the extra £285

Anyone tried repairing their Dyson hairdryer? It's a useless hunk of metal at the moment

It was not a criticism, it was simply because he mentioned sometimes people are harsh and don't appreciate others effort. I find this deal ok and I voted hot, I just mentioned not to have high expectations to get hot, particularly when posted at midnight, nothing else. I do not know if others would have posted it, as it seems Dyson hair dryers are not very popular here.

Bought this for mrs when it first came out, and Ive ended up using it more than her. So easy to dry hair/beard after shower rather than run it rugged using towel. Gets used daily by both of us. Safe with little kids around. Excellent power and heat control. Use it for fun pointing and blowing it towards kids from other side of room- they love it. Still going strong ...and yes gives that silky finish! Well done Dyson.

Honestly I'm not fussed about the degrees and stuff I just want to try and help if I can. Just returning some favours for all those who have posted in the past and helped me. So thank you all. All support of any kind is appreciated.
Welcome to the harsh world of the HUKD community where all soulless people come to vote! You will get very disheartened but my advice is a deal that goes cold one day can be posted again and go hot because the voters are evil and don’t care that we are taking time to post with no benefit to ourselves!

For the cost of these hairdryers, Dyson should put their money where their mouth is and give a 5 year warranty. The reliability of Dysons digital motors across the product ranges isn't great for the cutting edge technology they provide.
