Bought this earlier this year.

Was a bit skeptical about having a cordless vaccuum.

I read all the reviews and youtube comparisons with other cordless such as sharks.

- I really wanted the sharks etc to be better because I would have preferred to have spent less money on a vaccuum cleaner.

This came out on top

Reluctantly, I paid full price for this.

BUT - it is worth it.

It is a good vaccuum with a long battery life.

Sadly, our cat died 6 months ago. This machine was sucking up cat hairs that were deep within the carpet that our old vacuum had failed to pick up.!!!!!

You don't waste time having to plug / unplug the vacuum cleaner when going between rooms.
- Yes, I do realise that it is cheaper to buy a corded machine.
- I also realise that it is cheaper to walk than buy a car
- I also realise that it is cheaper to hand wash clothes instead of having a washing machine.
Personally, I have a cordless vacuum, I own a car and a washing machine.

It is easy to empty. Being cordless, I am more likely to "give the car a quick clean". (with a corded vaccuum, I rarely did this because of the hassle factor)

- So, if you really do want this machine then it is a good price.
- If you don't want this machine, don't vote cold.

Hmmm - do I vote Hot (because it's the cheapest Dyson V11 Absolute + wand out there) or do I vote Cold (because it's stupidly overpriced for what it is, and especially when compared with comparable vacuum cleaners from other manufacturers)?

Curry’s also offering same price minus the additional wand.

Says you can pay 0% over a year as well at about £42 a month; might make it more affordable for some
I have this and it's totally amazing. Way over priced but amazing. I had been using a Henry hoover, then I switched to this. It's a bit like comparing a dacia to a Ferrari. Just nothing to compare, the Dyson literally sucked the cra* out of our carpets. Never realised how dirty they were until we used this and our carpets are only a year old. It's also so easy to use, it's super expensive, i manage to get it for 480 and I hate saying it but I wouldn't ever switch back, it's just too good. The battery is the only downside, we get 15 minutes on full power or an hour + on standard power. In reality though in most cases we use the boost power. So we do have to charge it up a lot, it's not a big deal, but I guess battery technology is one of those things that will get better in time.

It’s a deal in the sense that it’s cheaper than the RRP but just because it’s less doesn’t make it a good deal on this site!

I am curious about how long the battery lasts in terms of battery health. It is similar to smartphones/laptops?
Fuming, bought this last week at full price - agreed to refund the £100

Got a refurbished one for £320 off eBay Dyson outlet back when the discount codes were on.
Its good but i wouldnt pay £499 for it.
I wonder what it costs to make this, compared to the V6. Bigger bin and a bigger battery, is that the only difference? The RRP seems mental to me
4yr battery life I would want a spare battery for that price
Wish I had 500 spare for this such a lot of money!
£499 for a vacuum? Crazy. Get a V7 for half the price. Even then that's too much for something that is used for a few mins a day.

Vote hot because it’s best cordless which have ever tested

Which comparable vacuum cleaners compare to the V11 Absolute out of interest? Everything I’ve read and seen suggests this blows other cordless vacs out of the water, hence justifying a higher price?

Because those '£50' Dysons on sale at Sainsburys were a much better deal

I know this is a niche market, but pretty certain more people will get their hands on these at £499 than the one at £50!

Just got through on the phone, excellent customer service. Got 2 additional wands as mentioned mine was a bit stiff (oi oi) so they honoured the deal and sent a replacement for the potentially dodgy one. A+ Service. 100% would recommend no hassle and the hoover is tremendous, upgrade from old trusty Hetty.
The V11 is a beast in the cordless handheld market. Coming from a V6 the V11 is finally a viable replacement for corded. Comparing..Longer battery, great suction, bigger waste bin and has a better system to decant the waste.

Their is the previous V10 which is almost as good and probably had for a lot less

Have they ever listed a V11 on the Ebay outlet? I thought they topped out at V10 on there.
Do you think the price will go down further given black friday is around the corner?
I ordered one, my old V6 keeps coming apart, I was going to hang on until Black Friday to get a V11, hopefully on offer but got this one now has it had £100 off, heat added.
I bought last year the V10 Absolute and since the difference is not massive plus the fact they don't have the extra head, I will keep mine
But I have to say since they changed the bin empty mechanism I have no problem and I love it, I had the GTech before but now with the more powerful battery there is no more comparison. If there is a good bargain on black Friday I will buy the V11 and sell the 10 on eBay (but I will keep the fluffy head)
By the way what is the point to have an extra wand?? Change colour with the seasons???
Any idea if it will be cheaper on black Friday? Lol not sure if to wait or bite the bullet and go for it

I see you support a great team by the way
