V11 has more power, bigger battery and bin,v12 is smaller, lighter and has laser soft roller

I got the V11 for £214 on the last ebay offer, I presently have the V8.
I hoovered the carpet, and was amazed how much it had picked up compared with the V8, a vast improvement.
It is a bit of a beast though, size and weight wise!

The voucher cannot be added. Even so, why should I buy a refurbished ( 1y w) for 310 when I can buy a new one for 360 ( 2 y warranty)?

Couple of points, I ordered the V12 on Dyson Ebay last week.

Like so may recent ebay listing, I received a brand new V12 fully boxed and sealed. I registered the warranty with Dyson and it confirmed 24 month warranty so like a new item...

Secondly the V12 is a recently released model which takes most features of the V15 model but in a lighter and more compact body with slightly smaller battery but nearly the same amount of power... it has an on/off button instead of the trigger on all other models too...

Just to clarify the V12 is not nearly as powerful as a V15. The V12 has a maxium suction power of 150 Air Watts which is on par with the original V10 which also has Max suction power of 150 Air watts. The V15 has a Max suction power of 230 Air Watts which is a difference of 80 Air Watts and you can tell the difference in performance.

we still have an old small hand held dyson, we recently picked up a s***y EUFY model on amazon its really terrible and switched back to our old miele bagged one for main use.

Do these really just replace and no need to have/keep a normal style old vaccum?

Standard vaccums definitely still have their uses. Vacuuming large amounts, heavy workloads.
Since getting a Dyson, my mum's main vac is a wet dry shop vac, super powerful and can clean anything, Dyson does all the standard stuff.

You could even flip the question on why you might want a Dyson in addition to a standard vacuum?
The ease of being able to quickly pick up and go for minor tasks is awesome

Ordered 4pm yesterday, turned up at 12pm today. Really pleased with first use. Its picked up a lot more dirt from the carpets and I like the battery display so don't have to have it on charge all the time.

With the discount code stacking what are the thoughts on the omni glide? I have a V15 - but only have hard floors ground floor with the rest carpet. I think the omni is a luxury but quite small and handy. I’m just too lazy to walk down the stairs to get it to upstairs. Is it worth £180 - anyone have one? (edited)
