Got one of these from the Dyson eBay Outlet just before Christmas for about £320. Supposed to be an open box return but was brand new, sealed with all the packaging etc. Same warranty as new.

    Great piece of kit.

Didn't come with the free kit, but vac already includes a mattress cleaning attachment and a couple of brushes so unsure if the £50 for a flexible tube is actually worth the extra anyway.

Mattress cleaning head is useless. I have tested it and it pushes all the dust and hair in front but not suck it up.

Bought it a couple days ago.
For your information the gift comes separately with a separate delivery company. This was my case.
The hoover is brilliant. The laser on the soft head helps a lot. The power is good enough. The one button start/stop is a huge relief. Do not need to hold the trigger anymore. The weight is acceptable.
The dust bin is tiny compare to my previous 7 and even I open it and empty it there are still dust and hair stuck inside. Bad design.
The battery life is better then the 7 but in high mode it still not good.
But for car cleaning this still s..cks unfortunately. This is not my first cordless vacuum and dyson, but none of them were managed to clean my car properly. In high mode it can do better but it last only a couple minutes so it is impossible to hoover the whole car in that mode. I was thinking about spare battery... Oh yeah nearly £80...No thx (edited)

How often you have to empty the bin? Every 2nd room? I have v7 too and can easily do the whole house in one go.

Bananas pricing compared to a £100 Roidmi with 96% as much power

Dust sensing gimmicks are worthless compared to being able to replace the entire thing 4 times over for the money

(Also looks good rather than like a k’nex model with all the random coloured plastic!) (edited)

@Kiririn Would you recommend a P11? I hadn’t heard of this brand before you mentioned it but it seems reviewed well? amazon.co.uk/Pro…c=1

Got this the other day, previously had a Shark and Vax but prefer the Dyson over them both. Very impressed with the hair untangling roller. I used to be a skeptic but I’ve learnt not to knock it without trying it.

Sent Dyson back and we got a Triflex and been super impressed… but horses for courses. We have 50/50 hard floor and carpet. The battery is really good and it picks up really well. Watch Ibaisaic Miele Triflex video on YouTube and Vacuum Wars

Went from V8 absolute to this, its the closest and best per upgrade imo since it retains the main light weight feature of v8 so one can quickly go around the home and clean up easily.

I thought the laser was a gimmick, but it's actually great. Makes it a bit quicker as you can see the parts you've done so you don't go over them again... you can also really tell it's making a difference. I'd rather pay a bit more so the job is slightly easier every time I do it. My time is a lot more valuable than money. Generally the Dyson has some great features. The only thing I think they could improve is to simplify the dust emptying mechanism as stuff can sometimes get trapped. Dyson should take a leaf out of Apple's book design wise, and go for minimalism. The less vents, ridges, edges, seams etc the better, when you are trying to avoid dust getting trapped.

That is not the true in my opinion. Previously I just quickly run through the house with my vacuum but now because I see the dust it takes more time because I want to clean all up and not miss a spot. It doubles the time for me but at least I know I have done a great job.

Do dyson still do corded? Prefer corded as you’re not limited by the battery’s life then!

Super device. Bought just before Christmas from Dyson outlet and have been so impressed. Very light and easy to use, picks up pretty much everything you’d expect from a vacuum.

It's okay, but having just tried my new Samsung I would say for the extra 13.50 (or 100 less if you don't want a mop) then the bespoke jet is better if you can put up with the hell of buying it via Samsung. I've used Dysons all my days, but the Samsungs actually in a different league in terms of fit and finish and way better because you get more tools for the same money.

Your Samsung may well be better than this V12 (the V12 has the same power as the V10) but won't be a patch on the V15 detect which is currently reviewed and tested as the most powerful cordless stick vac on the market.

Thing about these is the exhaust air is fired into your face. Poor design imo.
