Intelligent and automatic cleaning

The Dyson V15 Detect Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has a sensor that measures microscopic dust particles and automatically increases the suction power needed for the deepest cleaning. You don't need to mess around with settings - it's all automatic.

As an added bonus, you can see how much of different particle types have been lifted from your floors. It's all displayed on the LCD screen.

Get a deeper clean

Its High Torque cleaner head monitors and adapts the power needed on carpets for really deep cleaning. It monitors the brush resistance 360 times per second to give your carpets the care they deserve.

It can suck up dust and hair from any type of floors without tangling it around the head - there's a detangling comb to do the job.

The suction power is stable thanks to the V15 Detect Animal Root Cyclone Technology with 14 scrolled cyclones. The powerful Hyperdymium motor gives enough power to suck in all from microscopic dust to large debris.

Ideal for pet owners and allergy sufferers

Pets bring us a lot of joy, but they also leave a lot of hair behind in the process. The V15 Detect Animal is an ideal choice for pet owners, as it helps you to clear all those unwanted stray pet hairs from your home.

It can also capture 99.97% of dust particles, even if they're microscopic. Breathe easy and relax in comfort.

I think this is a misprice.

    RRP at release was £499.

I have just checked Dysons website and it is now £529 dyson.co.uk/vac…ron

So it being listed for £429 with no mention of a discount (which retailers love to make obvious) I have come to the conclusion that it must be a misprice. If you were in the market for the best cordless vacuum money can buy then this is the best chance to get it at a reduced price. Dyson very rarely put offers on their latest and greatest. Only when a new version comes out that they will reduce the price of the outgoing model.

    i.e John Lewis lists at £529 johnlewis.com/dys…625
whilst Argos must have auto price matched Curry's (or vice versa) so £429 argos.co.uk/pro…953

I imagine it will get fixed soon-ish

Dyson and Shark are rubbish for customer service. Personally, Shark weren't horrible when I contacted them, but I've heard lots of bad stories about them - same as Dyson.

I have purchased 7 dyson hoovers over the years for my tenants and the customer service has been amazing. Every company is dependent on their frontline staff and you may get a lemon experience with any company. Dyson were great last week, my new dyson V11 stopped working and they just sent me a replacement battery.

No it’s this price at both Argos and Curry’s and has been for a couple of weeks.

For everyone on the look out for a stick vacuum cleaner, but not fully ready to commit to that price level - Samsung Jet 75 Pet (which is the same vacuum cleaner - Jet 90 has a telescopic pipe, docking station, and a mop head that I find useless). You can get Jet 75 slightly below 300GBP, with soft head (for hard floors) slightly above 300GBP.

The cheaper price just rotates amongst the 5 big retailers that sell them. Dyson is the most tightly retailed product I’ve ever seen.

Occasionally you get s free accessory (like the ‘£100’ stand) thrown in. They save the nicest colour scheme for their own website where they charge £100 more for people who are willing to pay to have it painted gold. Their website also is the only version with the hepa filter that meets the latest hepa standard but they try not to mention it.

The fact that you could get topcashback on this price is a rarity. Cheapest I’ve seen on this model is £450 with the stand from argos in December.

Best deal I’ve seen is a dyson outsize refurb from their ebay outlet with discount vouchers for £350 with 1 year warranty instead of 2. This for £360 new is a steal. Picked one up from currys yesterday, actually was a nice shop experience, gonna keep an eye out for flying pigs.

I bought it 2 days ago and returned it today! Honestly, I'm not impressed with performance. I have replaced it with Shark, and its worth for the money and equally satisfactory job! Dyson was noisy when compared with shark!

I'm sorry but the V15 has 230/240 AW suction so I am going to call foul on this statement. Can you please tell us which Shark you bought ?

I love the Shark marketing "50% more suction*" *Versus Shark IZ201UK. so funny!!!!!

Lets face it, if the Shark was any good they would give their suction specs.

Anybody who has bought this and returned within two days due to unsatisfactory performance either had it in the wrong mode or had a faulty unit. There is no other cordless vac with the suction performance of this.
