Hi All,

So was routing around the Dyson outlet and found the V6 currently 30 quid or so off Compared to the current eBay price great if you missed the deal and want one of these decent little machines.

Hope this helps someone out as it is cheaper then the recent eBay deal .

Many people ( including us) have received it brand spanking new from Dyson outlet register and you will probably get the 2 year guarantee not 1 as advertised ( not guaranteed to happen but worth a go).

Merry Christmas 🎄

It is a good product, but wont match with your middle class expectations. Battery lasts very little time. If you do the powerful mode, it wont even last for 10 minutes. If purchased brand new, after 2 years, you have to replace battery.

Buy a vacuum that matches my earnings and lifestyle? It's a hoover mate, not a car
It’s not a shark, not made in England and produced by another of Reece moggs buddies , cold from me

I also got a brand new one on the last deal
Great price.
Just ordered one hope it’s brand new 🙏
What’s the price difference between this and refurbished... how about the other model??
Nice one, got straight on to this.
This or a shark twin battery?

We have a three storey house, so upgraded to this some years ago. It’s the one gadget I would instantly replace if it ever stopped working. Does a great job
we have the v6 and v7 and the V7 is worth the extra
Can anyone help with the difference between the v6 and v7. Dyson claims the v7 has 75% more suction power? But on their stats its only 20watts compared to the 28 watts on the v6!!

One of the main differences is the empty mechanism. Far cleaner on v7.

"75% more brush bar power". The motorised head is different and is a much better and more powerful design. Suction is largely the same between the V6 and V7 models but the newer head is a lot better.
I have a V6 absolute which has the V7 head and it's much better than my parents standard V6 head.
I bought the V8 after the v7 broke (my fault). It's so much better. I tried the V10 and it wasn't worth the difference in price. The v11 is a good upgrade though if you can justify the costs.

After comparing stats watching 101 videos, and after using a V6 short term (sisters) then buying a V11 of my own which I returned within the 3month trial period. I ended up with a V8. Think it best balance between performance vs cost. (Got a cheap new V8 which might sway my bias slightly (225 )

If you watch few comparison vids V8 vs V10, you'll see apart from the empty mechanism they squeezed out the extra battery times by adding a lower power setting (low/med/high) which doesnt pick up aswel. Where as the V8 has 2 settings rather then 3. Low & high. Low setting V8 is comparable to medium on the V10. Once u do that run times become the same.

IF money not an issue I'd say might aswel go for the top of the range V11 absolute. It was very good if not a touch on the heavy side. Looks, display run time, emptying mechanism all brilliant just the 600quid is bit steep.

I have the V8 and the V6s at the office and my parents seem much poorer. The V8 is very good and does pretty much all I want.
Thanks for this deal, I brought it earlier and I got 2 years guarantee
We had the v6 lasted about 3 years which is pretty average for dyson. Purchased the shark corded hoover on black Friday and the amount of dust it picked up on its first use made me 1. Alittle embarrassed 2.realise i would never go back to dyson again! Cordless or corded!...
The head on the v6 is wack! Have to open it up every 5-6 uses to clear out all the stuck hairs.

It is, I got mine the other day brand new and still had the seals on the box and not a mark or scratch on it
We have the V6 Absolute. If you have carpet I really wouldn't bother as it's not great, especially on rugs that have pile longer than 1/2 cm. It's a lazy broom / brush for hard floors. Glad we kept our Miele for carpets.
However, the convenience side of it we love so I've read these comments with interest and may upgrade at some point.
I got one last week and it looks new. I have a v8 as well which seems a bit better but not massively so. Both are great for spot cleaning but the head is too small for doing a room. I have solid flooring and use a Miele with a parquet head.

Do they use electronics and motor and replace outer casing with new parts?

Don't believe anything Dyson say. They claim those airblade hand dryers are the world's most hygienic even though you are putting your hand inside a plastic container filled with the filthy drips and smears off other people's hands. They say their machines never lose suction. All nonsense.

However this deal is quite good, but is it any better than the Hoover or Vax models you can get refurbished on ebay for half the price?.

If you ask me I think mr Dyson made way to many of these v6 animal Hoovers and now he's got to sell them off cheap to get shot of them...because the one I got was brand new

You mean Rees-Mogg?
AND Shark products are made in China!!!
The Shark brand name, however, is owned by a company that originated in Europe and from 2015, based in the United States. Keep Learning.
But true, best leave Dyson alone. GET A DIBEA! Under a 100 quid NEW! and BRILLIANT!

Completely agree. I was so chuffed with my V6 when I first had it but it’s awful- needs some sort of service every time I use the damn thing by the time you’ve sorted the filter and snipped the hair that’s tangled in the brush off you turn the ruddy thing on and it conks out 2 mins after use- I am at the end of my tether with it!!!
I've messaged these guys to ask for vacuum reviews

Are the chargers for the v6/7/8 cross-compatible?
Recently purchased a brand new V6 for £150 but have replaced with a shark within two months which is 100 times better. Save the money, it’s an old model, battery doesn’t large, you are paying for the brand. The shark was only £50 more.
