Have been wanting this dyson model for years, but turned away from it because of its high price tag.
Was browsing online coz mum wanted a cordless hoover due to sore back, and came across this fab deal.
Almost half price, for the total kit suitable for both hard and carpet floorings!

Haha, are we both still looking?! This could take a while... X)
I bought this model from pc world business for this price but with better cash back but the box arrived from DPD with the bottom 6 inches soaking wet. Soggy box + electrical items?? I don't think so waiting on a response from pc world but it's not a keeper!
So do I reorder or wait for the animal to drop in price again... I can't get past the 14 minutes run time so it'll probably be the animal

Haha you are my new Hoover buddy. The absolute was lower than this direct from fusion before I think but with extra tools. I think if I go for anything it will be absolute or total clean. Still want the v8 but unless I win the lottery it's unlikely. If I win I'll buy you one too lol

Dyson not fusion

Ps the customer service at pc world usually sucks. Hope you get a refund x

can I be stupid and ask what's a fluffy head? we have borrowed my grandad dyson v6 fluffy to see if we like before we buy one as our vax hoover has blown. we been waiting for good price so unsure what to do ?

The fluffy head is the spongy one for hard floors. It should be the head you have with yours as the fluffy comes with standard motorised head and fluffy head, The total clean has 75% more brush bar power and absolute 150% more, Total clean comes with both heads but absolute has a different head for hard floors not the fluffy one. I feel so sad for knowing this info. I'm a dyson cordless geek

This should help

argos.co.uk/wcs…htm

It doesn't have total clean on it but you can get info on that from dyson website. I'm not sure if it comes with full size motorised head or not

Another Dyson geek here.

But did you know even if you buy the fluffy head after market, it won't fit the absolute? Absolute joke!!

If you have hard floors, its Total Clean or nothing !

Been looking at the v6 animal extra. Email from dyson told me it's got 75% more brush bar power and reduces the run time to 17 minutes which I feel is a good compromise

No I didn't know that. That's weird. How do the other heads work in both? That's such a rip off

The absolute has a hard floor head just not the spongy type one. For me the spongy one would be a must as it looks amazing

As above, not hopeless but the fluffy head is much better (dyson supply it with their flagship V8 model, and that says everything)

I've no idea as I've never tested it out personally, but I know from my research you just can't do it. Total clean is the way forward

Ill need to wait until price drops again, last time I looked the other day it was £40 more expensive than the v8
