Missed the v7 so was thinking this, for my grandad and doing a quick compare this one seems good just lower run time

Same here, considered purchasing the V7 about 5 times during the deal but didn't bite, then regretted once deal was gone! I done a comparison and the general view of users seem to be this is better for harder floors than V7 because of its useful attachment(soft roller brush I think!). Battery, like you said is 20 minutes compared to the 30 minutes on V7 but it's fine for my intended use. Hopefully, 2 years guarantee after registering it!

How much was the V7

How much was the V7

150 initially, then 2 or 3 days later a promo became available making it 142
The v7’s are all sold out, this looks like the best deal for a dyson, I don’t think I have ever seen one this cheap!

I’ve checked the warranty and it comes with 2 year as well which is really good

I have a v6 which I got for £150 direct from Dyson earlier this year. One good thing that no one points out are the tools from other previous Dyson models I have the DC24 and 25 fit the v6 once you go to v7 then the tools aren't compatible but you might be able to get an adaptor.
trying to hold out for black friday to see what offers pop up but this is tempting me

On the eBay page it says 1 year after the title - where did you see 2 years?

same. wish I had bitten on the V7
Looks like the code is no longer working. Are there any other codes going at the moment?
This is Animal version so it comes with a Mini Motorised Tool to mount directly to the handled unit. V6 Animal comes with 10 min less vacuum time than V7 but it has the same suction power. If the additional 10 mins don't bother you much, go for it. Like I said, the Mini Motorised Tool is a bonus for me. I ordered 2x for £245.10.
I ordered the V7 because my V6 stopped working - I finally got it to work again after cleaning the filter. Anyway, the V7 arrived and the one thing that instantly stood out to me was the difference in noise. The V7 is sooooo much quiter than then V6. The manoeuvrability on the V7 is much better than the V6 as well.

Is it really that different? Was looking at the link below and it says 6db difference and very little difference in maneuverability.

Definitely a big difference on noise - remember that decibels don't measure proportional increase/decrease.
Less of a difference on manoeuvrability but still noticeable imo (maybe because I was comparing a used machine against new)
Seriously dont bother with the V6, the rest of the range (particularly V8 upwards) are so much better.
The heads clog far too easily, the roller is a magnet for long hair, they are a nightmare to empty, battery is next to useless.

Replaced mine with a v10 and it is far, far better. Yes it cost a lot more, but its worth every penny to get rid of the frustrations associated with the v6.

The V6 feels like a prototype compared to the rest of the range.

Completely disagree. It has great power and runs for a good amount of time. Every stick will have problems getting hair stuck in it but the V6 actually has great convenience to clean out the roller brush. For the price this is amazing and well worth it.
Pickme5 still working?
I got one, although I payed £129 as I payed with PayPal credit, not that I couldn't afford it, but for a tenner a month you can't go wrong.
I tried it today and it's good, miles better than the Morphy Richards one we've had for years, but it is quite loud, but I'm sure we'll get used to it.
Mine delivered today, I’d swear it’s not reconditioned, just the original box torn
