Hi, Please can you tell me which is better the V6 total clean or V7 Animal?
I've seen both on eBay (refurbished) for a good price (cannot post to HUKD).

Thank you for your replies!
This is Absolute model, cracking price
We bought a refurbished cordless Dyson 3 years ago from their eBay Outlet. It's still going strong - so easy to use and so efficient.

Ok, but most things that the op has posted are not the best deals out there. What's wrong with gearbest deals? A lot of the time they ARE the best deals out there! At this rate this op will overtake 'rubberbullets' and his turkey twizzler deals!!
Heat added.....Good deal
...keep looking 4 the deals...have a good day
Sorry I thought the ones I posted were good deals... clearly not
@Lucentis Thanks for all the deals you have shared

It's worth checking which heads come with whatever model variant you're considering in addition to the running time. It seems that the larger the number (6,7,8) the longer the running time. There are different heads for different floor types. If you have hard floors, look out for the 'fluffy' motorised head. For carpets, look for the 'motorhead' brush. I have both and so went for a 'total clean' model, which includes the fluffy, motorhead and a motorised mini brush for stairs/cars.

No probs. My earlier comment was only meant lightly.

Both of them do not contain the fluffy head
Found this, also. Pretty useful.

MODEL WEIGHT NORMAL MAX BIN
Dyson V6 Animal 2.11kg 28AW/20min 100AW/6min 0.40 litre
Dyson V7 Animal 2.32kg 21AW/30min 100AW/6min 0.54 litre
Dyson V8 Animal 2.55kg 28AW/25min 115AW/6min 0.54 litre

It seems that, apart from the dreadful bin empty faffing, the older V6 is a pretty good compromise. The table compares running time in both 'normal' and 'max' modes for each model. The V6 is so much cheaper than the two newer models and well worth considering, according to this data.

Note that the 'max' running time for all models is just 6mins with the V8 only having 15% more suction than the V6 and V7.

Note that the V8 has the same suction as the V6 in 'normal' mode with a 25% (5min) increase in running time and getting on for 100% price increase.

Both of which? The V6 Total Clean definitely does but the V6 Absolute does not. It does contain a head which was meant for hard floors but isn't as good as the fluffy head. I have both models.

I can't make it any clearer. The V6 Total Clean includes the fluffy head.
V6 Fluffy also has the fluffy head (as well as a motorised head): ebay.co.uk/itm…894

Bought one from there recently.

According to this site: spotlessvacuum.co.uk/cor…on/

The Fluffy also comes with the motorised cleaner head for carpets. This isn't as effective as the direct-drive at digging deep into carpets, but can still do a good job.

According to that site, the direct-drive head comes with the Total Clean.

You can also buy fluffy heads separately.
