Best price I could find currently for the V6 Fluffy model that includes the cleaner heads for both hard floors and carpets, plus various additional small tools and charger dock.

Brilliant Hoover. Would recommend for any type of house, makes our standard vacuum cleaner feel really heavy and a lot of effortetc.

I would however not get rid of my standard Miele, when I'm doing diy work, lots of dust, clearing shattered glass etc, the Miele will always performs better just due to its design and power.

Recommendation, buy it if you need another Hoover in the house, or if you live on multistory house and you know exactly how it feels to carry a Miele up and down stairs.

In before- its not Hoover its a Dyson.

Supermod

Cheers for sharing @Feesher Love my V6. Cracking price.

I'd let him off if he'd left hoover lower case....

No HEPA filter on this, otherwise it would have been perfect. Fluffy head looks great for all surfaces.

V6 is so old.. what's especial about this "fluffy" model anyways?

I went for the V7 as it had a much longer battery life than the V6 - 50% more for only another £80. Got it on deal at

I would wait until the price comes down if not in hurry. It reportedly went down to £219 two weeks ago (refer link below). So the price might go down again.

That happens after you vote something cold so you might have accidentally hit the cold option, after you do that the plus disappears so it looks like it's cold, gets confusing lol

Bit the bullet and grabbed one.
At £199 for a spanking new one it's worth a go seeing as the Dyson eBay outlet sell 2nd hand/returned for anything between £160-£250 ish I think.

Just ordered it. Struggling to find it at a better price anywhere so heat added. Will it count as a Christmas present for the wife??!:/

Might be the new layout, the position of the -/+ buttons makes it look like it's in minus.

Gotta get myself a fluffy handstick.

6 to 20 mins running time.
very poor unless you live in a 1 room bedsit.
can imagine how long you get after 2 years

We have one... 20 mins is enough to vacuum nearly every room of our 2,350sqft house. However, it's much better if you vacuum as and when needed, rather than doing a single 'whole house' clean once a week, for example.

Yeah, as above our V6 does all 3 floors of our house on normal power and most of it on the boosted suction, if it runs out, you leave it to charge and come back later or the next day. The time saved dragging a fat vacuum and plugging in and out of the wall is the best bit about this. Note we have had it 2 years and still good as the day we got it

What a catch!

Get this if you have an apartment. For a three bed (or more) house; don't bother.

You disgusting b*****d give the poor things a decent burial!!!! Alternatively chop them up and blend them first, they'll probably fit then.

Would not touch it ,annoying noise and weak battery.
V8 is much better option even for double price

Got it for about £160 6 months ago in an Argos flash sale. We've also got a DC33 - the V6 is much better for tiled floors like the kitchen, and great for small clean ups/quick vac inbetween lugging the bigger Dyson around.

Also far easier to use this on stairs than a big dyson with the extension.

6mins if you put it on Max setting, 20 mins otherwise. I have a V6 that someone gave me because they got a V8 , pretty sure its over 2yrs old and the battery is fine.

Its much quicker to use than my normal vac because this has a motorised head and picks up well and you don't need to worry about the cable.

The only downside for me is that its not so good off floors, like if you want to get dust off tops of skirting board, every so often I use a normal vac for that.

Not a fan of Dyson as there overpriced crap but the wife wanted one.
Only being used for little in between daily cleans and says it's not bad. Still overpriced at £199 in my opinion and I certainty wouldn't pay £400 for a battery vac.
I only paid around £200 ish for my shark upright which pisses all over a Dyson

I'm sure I read that the V8 performance isn't really much better than the V6. Suction power is also lower but it does have a new way of emptying it. Not really worth the crazy high price in my opinion especially for a cordless vacuum.

With the Fluffy you get the head for carpet (not ideal for thick pile) soft roller head for hard floors and a mini motorised for stairs, car etc as well as the standard crevis and combination tool.

Usually these drop drop from the £400 to £269 mark but £199 is a bargain.
In flats and bungalows, 20minutes is perfect. Large family homes, maybe for idea alongside your regular vacuum

The suction isn’t much more on a V8 but the motorised head is about 100% more powerful on a V8 over V6. You really notice the difference on thick carpet and rug

The main bigger heads with the fluffy don't look like they can do much. The carpet one is crap on deep carpets and rugs.

I do not read i used both, there is an equipment performance limit below You should not expect things to work- v6 and v7s are below that limit im sure.
V8 is above that and only thing to buy- buy cheap buy twice
Suction is higher and last longer than v6 v7 plus heads quick exchange system, easier emptying it, and it is quieter more equpipment with etc

I already own a dc44. If I were just to buy the fluffy motor unit and brush, does anyone know if it is the same connectors and would therefore fit?

Cheers
