I thought the hot/cold thing was to indicate how good a deal was rather than how well it was posted about?

Heat added OP.
great deal. love this hoover thank you
Way out of my league in terms of price. Seen a much much cheaper wired version made by Beldray for £35 that is tempting me.
Love my Dyson V6. Much better than a wired hoover. I paid more than this!
£199 pretty much everywhere. Even John Lewis with 2 years guarantee (if it means much)
£180 @ Argos ebay using code C10ARGOS

ebay.co.uk/itm…712
the v8 animal is also interest free at £399.99 add well as the v8 total at £520.

@ Dyson gives a clue
Well Dyson made the brush roll for the motor head not available anymore today as a separate part and you now have to purchase the WHOLE motor head if you want to replace it, all the other bits are available for the motor head just not the important bit their customers want to purchase the brush roll.

Wouldn't touch Dyson with a barge pole over hyped marketing priced made in Malaysia poor quality components and overall average performance anything after the DC14 is poor. These models your getting now are ages old tech they are already 2-3 designs ahead but wont give you them as they can make loads of cash out of what they already designed 2-3 years which you will get next year.

This is certainly not worth £200 this costs them about £60 to make.

You have no idea how business works I'm afraid. I would get into an in depth discussion - but frankly I'd be wasting my time. Have a good evening comrade.

Wouldn't want to anyway no point, just boils down to honesty in business and where you draw your line of sensible profitability being exposed to the inside of the said company their line is way off, we got your view from the comments you have your opinion, I have mine your right ,I'm right it would be very pointless.

you probably love apple devices aswell, thinking they are excellent value for money, brainwashed by all the bull about them.

It says @Dyson in the title. You do seem to be being a little unpleasant for no real reason imo. Each to their own I guess.
Voted hot to counter bouncy99 ..
hmm this or the fluffy for use on both carpet and hard floors..
Dyson isn't what it use to be, I'd say you are paying for the brand but vacuums in general aren't as powerful anymore due to EUs **** eco requirement. It'd be a good time to see whats on Vaxs sale at the moment

I was sceptical of the whole Dyson brand but I wouldn't be without my V6 now. The size, weight and charge on this are perfect for me to whistle over the floors in a few rooms a day and stay on top of things, without turning hoovering into the kind of chore I was doing far less frequently because of the hassle.

Yep just one minor one - has as much suction power as an asthmatic without an inhaler

honesty in business! What a joke. look at apples absurd profits. this proves to me that nobody cares enough about how much the company is extracting out of you in profit.
Good spot OP. thank you for taking the trouble to post this. Heat from me.
I called Dyson at the weekend to get some spares for my DC50 sent out under warranty and they offered me a V6 cordless for £179! I think I will call back and get it!
Same price everywhere
Some people have way too much time on their hands to argue about brands and why Dyson is!

Got one of these. Love it. Buy this, you won't regret it. Its so much more convenient and easier to use. Especially when you have pets.

What rubbish. I have a V6 fluffy and it's fab. Picks up so much more than my old Vax did.

The only 'major pitfall' I could say is that it needs emptying often- probably about 4 times if I do the whole house. But it's worth it. So light and easy to whip round the house in half the time of the old traditional vaccum. Compact and easy to store too. If you have a large house you may not get round it all during the charge time, however I manage fine on one charge with juice left over usually. It's also great just to quickly whip out and vaccum up any small bits rather than having to lug out your traditional vaccum and plug it in etc. Good for the car too.

I like my fluffy but it's only worth paying more for the fluffy model if you have a lot of hard floors. However saying that I paid £179 for mine via the Dyson Ebay outlet, so if it was me I'd wait for a bargain to come up on there. They are refurb units but mine was like new.

I have an old dyson still works but it is carp compared to an old meile I alao have. Dyson do have very good marketing though.
I have this and I think it's rubbish. Very disappointing. Just chases bits round the floor. Forever emptying it and cleaning the roller. Wouldn't bother.

I love mine i hoover all the time with this because its so much less fuss than getting a wire out!
Bough Dyson V8 absolute three months ago and still loving it! Very good suction and very easy to use.
