How long do you need it to last. I have an older one with 9 min turbo mode and can whizz round a 4 bed house no issue. It's not for replacing a full size vac.
these are awful vacuums the battery life is pathetic and doesnt have much of a suck either.

100%agree .20 mins run time ? Dyson must share the same worldwide marketing company as Apple .

Bought one of these a month or so back from Tesco brand new for £89. Great for the car but no way do you get the running time specified by Dyson
Good find! Hot!

Personally I’d pay an extra £14 for the car & boat version, but not in stock atm. Voted hot still for the price! 20 mins feel like a long time when you’re using it, we have had one for over a year now and at times it feels like the battery just goes on for ages.

Really ? Battery goes on and on .Ok James will take your word for it .
These are only £99 brand new from Aldi
Bought last year in same deal for £120. Really great little machines. House much cleaner as not a hassle vacuuming now being wireless. Go for it
Bought one new a few weeks ago advertised on here £99 now expired. Great for stairs

Which is best model mostly for stairs
Works fine for whipping round a floor at a time.
Pretty mixed reviews on this model which is why I'm still on the fence.

In the link there is also a brand new V6 Trigger (not Pro) for £119.99.

So for light duties such as car cleaning or picking up crumbs which would be the best choice? We have a Miele for general use.

i hover my house every day with my full size dyson and it takes about 30mins.. but i don't "wizz" around and i hover everywher inc under all beds ect... but we all have different standards
I bought one in the Tesco deal just to dip my toe so to speak as I'd only had an old 18v black and decker before. Night and day difference to those awful old NIcd ones. It's actually usable as a vacuum cleaner! Great for the stairs and edges of carpets etc. Battery life hasn't been an issue for me. You use it for a few mins and pop it back on charge and get on with your life...

'Digital motor' incidentally refers to the fact it's brushless and controlled by a chip. It should be much more reliable than a motor that uses brushes.
I bought the V6 Animal refurbished version of this from Dyson ebay outlet a few months back with all the tools including motorised head tool for the car. This version looks it only includes a couple of tools so for it to function as a full vacuum cleaner you’d need to buy the long pipe and brush head at least.

The running time is more than enough to do most rooms in the house unless your house is huge of course. I tend to do the downstairs then wack it back on the charger then do the upstairs later. If you don’t think 20 m is enough then cordless vacuum cleaners in general are not for you in any caseso no point in coming in and making silly comments.

You hover? 1. It's a vacuum cleaner not a hovercraft. 2. If you mean Hoover, that's a brand name.

So you vacuum your house including under the beds everyday? You must live in a dusty area or have ocd! I vac twice a week, sometimes just once and in between go around with the cordless when required.
No point talking about standards really if you don't see the point in this.
Worst purchase I ever made. Got it back in December from Tesco Direct when it was £99 with £10 off. Have to take it back already as it keeps cutting out. It’s stops and starts even when fully pressing the button. I’ve cleaned it and the filters etc. Loads of write ups online about this problem and there being issues with them. Worst Dyson purchase ever!

Thanks Jona77. I was thinking of making a purchase.
Great for giving a small house a full hoover, the car and for quick cleanups. Suction is great, especially with the motorised head and the "MAX" mode.

Those complaining about battery life, it's light and wireless with decent suction: if you want a big battery it'd weigh twice as much. Need more than 20min runtime? Go and buy a corded Dyson for 2+ times the price and drag it around your house!

Or really splash out (£400) and buy their new V10 handheld. Claims 1 hour run time and even more suction than a corded.
