Works for me.
Personally I would recommend paying more and getting the stick and motor head. £134.99 with the PERKS code.

Depends on members budgets i guess / what they use it for but it's a good price

I'll add this to the OP and credit, nice spot!

BTW the PERKS (10% off over a £20 min spend) code is for ALL of eBay (UK at least). It's featured on the eBay page of TopCashback. Worth noting there is 1.01% cashback also.

Waste of money if looking to use for anything larger than a 1 bedroom flat. I get about 10 minutes of use on the V8 using turbo mode which is appalling. I really don't understand the hype behind these... Especially when it takes over 6 hours to charge. I just about get enough time to clean my car.

That'll be it, cheers for that
I thought the shark product was king of the vacuum cleaners now?
I just want a hoover to clean car seats any better than this ? Thankyou for your help
Anybody know if its possible to add the longer end to the smaller version? so essentially making it an upright?

Shark is the king no doubt. All dysons I've used/seen don't even come close to the cleaning Shark offers! P.S. I prefer corded vacuums.
when does the warranty start . i dont need the vaccuum yet.

That's because you're not supposed to use the turbo mode as the primary mode.

Then it's terribly weak. It struggles to pick up hair off wooden floor, and this is with the V8. I can't imagine what regular mode is like on the V6.
Good find thx

I have the regular V6 (old DC59) with a mixture of carpets and hard floors in a 3 bed house, and it works fine for me. Picks up cat hair no probs from the carpet pile.

If your V8 is struggling, it's either clogged up or faulty.

Went for a v8 refurb total clean with a 15% off code last time and we love it! Agree with the poster above one of our best purchases ever haha. Don't think we've used the corded dyson one since?

if it barely last 10mins clearly you are running it in turbo mode. Run it in normal mode with a motorised head and it'd last at least 3 times that long

Thanks, but I'd rather not leave hairs and rice all over the floor. I can confirm my one is not faulty.

My £50 wired VAX is a million times stronger and better, no idea how people can compare a wireless to a wired.

well that's clearly because you have no idea. If you saying wired is a lot cheaper fair enough but saying they can't be compared is just ignorant. The new V10 pretty much makes wired redundant for the average house hold

I'm talking about the V8... It lasts 10 minutes on turbo and the suction is still weaker than my 10 year old VAX. They can't be compared. The average consumer will not spend £400 on a wireless hoover when they can get a wired one for £50 and it'll still be better. I'm not sure which Tesco Value wired hoovers you're looking at because so far, the V8 is weaker than every single wired one I've ever tried. The V10 can only be so much stronger. Not sure where the bias is coming from tbh. Use common sense.

Wired benefits
- Cheaper
- More powerful
- Bigger bag
- Doesn't run out of power
- Doesn't require charging
- Better manoeuvrability

Wireless benefits
- Portable

Right so you are saying you have the V8, no offense but I call bullocks unless you post a photo of it with your name "sAmeri" written next to it. My issue is that I believed comments like yours before which stopped me getting a wireless. If I had not seen my mates one for myself I still would not own one now.

- Cheaper (no **** this a premium product)
- More powerful (using more power does not mean better at cleaning this had been proven many times, on Turbo it sticks to the carpet and cleans way better than our old henry)
- Bigger bag (again, the henry was a faff to empty the V8 is a way easier and quicker)
- Doesn't run out of power (that argument could be used as a reason that a land line is better than a mobile phone)
- Doesn't require charging (it sits in a charge dock when not in use what's the problem with that? Mine hangs on my door under the stairs, takes up way less space than the old hoover)
- Better manoeuvrability (hahahahahahah no)

What the hell are these responses, you're not looking at it clearly at all. My point is my £50 hoover which is 10 years old does everything better. It's more value for money, by powerful I meant the suction is stronger and it cleans better, not sure which Henry you've been using. I empty out the VAX every couple of months, I need to empty the V8 after 2 days of use. How can you compare a mobile phone with a landline, that is the most absurd scenario I've ever heard of. You don't carry a landline with you because they're for completely different scenarios. Similarly with the Dyson, I stated it's okay for a 1 bedroom flat, but not for a house. Wired are far superior when it comes to large areas.

Again, for the millionth time, I use it for 10 minutes and it runs out of charge, then I put it in the stand and wait 6-8 hours to regain the full 10 minutes of use. That is insane if you've got a 6 bedroom house which needs cleaning almost every day. If you disagree with that you need to see a therapist. And yes, better manoeuvrability, the springy thing you can twist and pull on a wired hoover makes life so much easier, especially when I'm cleaning my car, you don't have that with a wireless one.

You don't own a Dyson V8 stop lying I feel embarrassed for you :'D I know I actually have one and it does our 4 Bedroom house no problem it will do close to 40 minutes with the motorised head and it is way more convenient than my other vacuums.
