£130 new on the Dyson website. Good price though, heat added.

I think you get more for your money with the Dyson V6 Car and Boat Extra at 149.99
It includes additional accessories: extension hose, stubborn dirt brush, mini soft dusting brush and in car 12V charger.

The only real difference between both types seems to be the external dimensions, the trigger pro being smaller.

Must have just dropped - thanks

When I was in ALDI I saw the DC59 for £167.99 as mentioned in a previous post in October, was so tempted to purchase.

What is the better deal and is it really worth paying this amount of money for a cordless vacuum or save a little more and get something better?

Good price from rrp but for me it was much better to get the often available refurbished V6 Absolute/fluffy stick for a extra 40 quid from dyson outlet.

It comes with all the attachments plus carpet heads etc

I have the V6 in use downstairs on hard floors and rugs. It's great if you get the right model with the right attachments for your needs.

It's good at quick clear ups and daily vacuuming. Our corded has gone upstairs where we have new carpet.
Not sure it can replace a corded machine all the time.

*this is a deal for the handheld

I suffer from dust allergies , the normal vacuum doesn't seem to work too good. Would this help with my allergy?

no.. you would need the allergy one with a hepa filter

Does anyone know if the attachments from the cordless dc59 will fit this?

Can't find much handheld dysons with a hepa filter.

Cold because I'm boycotting anything to do with Dyson on
1. Brexit grounds, and
2. the fact that the clearly weak and vulnerable plastic thingy on the handle broke on another Dyson model we had.
Very satisfied with our Miele, though!

Does anyone know if the attachments from the cordless dc59 will fit this?

They do indeed, the V6 and the DC58 are the exact same, and I got the long floor extension and rotating head for the DC58.

Will this be cheaper on Black Friday and what kind of Dyson vacuums will be on offer on Black Friday and how much? Also should we buy this now or wait for Black Friday?

Cheers chichi

if you've tried anti histamines you should try an air purifier.
