The v7 animal is back in stock with Dyson ebay, not a bad price and comes with a good set of accessories.

Sold with the usual 1 year warranty from Dyson eBay with the odd smattering of people that get an unregistered product and manage to get 2 years!

I’ve got this model and it’s been a revelation. Don’t think I could go back to a ‘regular’ vacuum now. It makes it so convenient that hoovering doesn’t actual seem a chore (and I never would have thought I’d be saying that!!)

Good price so heat given but you can get the Vax Blade 32v Ultra or Pro for around this price which comes out better in the reviews.

Does this come with the long pole in the picture?

I concur. Literally WANT to do my stairs now! This is probably way overstating it but I think it might have changed my life!

I tried the 32v Vax Blade and sent it back. As well as finding it uncomfortable to use the slightest of hair in the brush stops the motor. Even after I cleaned it out the motor cut out again after running it on the same patch of carpet. It was my first cordless and will be the last until the technology improves. Convenient maybe, but still no match against an average corded vacuum.
How do they ship them? Last time I ordered something from a 'reputable' seller on eBay and delivery courier left it on my doorstep found in the sellers favour as there was a signature!
So now don't buy high value items off eBay, but would like to give one these a go as the stairs with ours is impossible.

Don't base your opinion on cordless by looking at underpowered rubbish from Vax. Vax is just cheap immitation as they don't have the patented motor that Dyson has. Try the newest Dyson, the Dyson V10. It has an even more powerful motor than the Dyson V8 and that was good enough to replace my corded vacuum.
Just bought the new V10 today and what a beast.Always been happy with Dyson and would use anything else.Sharks look like poo and the Vax are about as reliable as a 2nd hand BMW.

Ordered thanks OP
What about this for £179?

ebay.co.uk/itm…ed6

Is this better than the Animal or more or less the same?
I was looking at a dyson eBay refurbished v6 recently. It's the v7 that much better for the additional money?

The animal has an extra attachment, the mini motor head too.
Ordered, we’ve been looking for a while and decided to buy. The refurbished service that Dyson provide is supposedly so good that I’m happy to bite the bullet on this. Thanks OP!!

When you thought you had done a good job with you old hoover then after 1 minute with this hoover you feel ashamed for having it lift 5 years of dust in one sweep

Well it runs for 10 minutes longer and has an easier way to dispense the dirt.
No good for hard floors as it doesn’t have the hard floor head attachment ?

Very much so - the V6 is good but clearing the dirt out is a massive pain compared to the v7 and v8
You'll be lucky to get the stated run time.
Good deal
Ok let's see how this works out, couldn't bring myself to stretch to the V8, 30 day money back so if I don't like it will send it back- have some heat anyway thanks for posting

It's perfect on hard floors. Just don't expect it to be able to pick up huge chunks of things.
Going to give one of these a go.

Currently have a vax cordless and it’s useless, small head that gets constantly blocked and is useless on hard floors.

I have 2 of the V6 dysons and to be fair it is about of a nuisance but the small capacity is the bigger problem.Still worth buying though.Wouldnt go back to a corded vac of any other make.Cant wait for my V10 to arrive today.
Bought the V7 about 6-8months ago. Would not go back to a corded vacuum cleaner.
I’ve not had the battery due on me once.
Suction is great.
Cleaning it out is as simple and easy as the adverts.
Totally pleased with mine.
Exactly what I was looking for and used £30 nectar vouchers I completely forgot about! Cheers OP!
Ooh thanks been waiting for this, a friend has one and now me too!
In case this helps anyone, the V7 Motorhead and Animal are the same price but when searching I couldn't find any info about their differences except which.co.uk said the RRP of the animal was £300 and the Motorhead was £370.

After looking into it it seems they are practically identical (specification on the Dyson site is the same) except the Animal has more accessories and looking at current prices the Motorhead is cheaper everywhere so looks like the animal is the one to buy

Yea, my mom got one. Combined with the wallmount/charger, being wireless is just all upside given that even on the lower setting, the vacuum is plenty powerful. It's just super easy to use. I think the only thing that could be better is that the dust and corner accessories cant be attached to the vacuum so you have to carry them separately if you want to use them.
All sold
With the V10 just announced this week (60 minutes battery!), I’m hoping the V8 comes down in price
We have the dyson v8 absolute and a full charge last around 10mins to be honest there rubbish.

I have all hard floors and have had a V7 for a year or two. It is excellent on hard floors as well as carpets.

You must have it on the 'Max' setting. They only last for about 10 minutes on that setting. You don't need it on the Max setting for general use. A V8 will last for about 40 minutes on the lower setting.
