I bought one of these and they look totally new. I also bought a V6 and V8. All without issues or signs of use.
Good deal but holding out for Black Friday deals. Especially for the V8
Got a v6 at the moment how much better are these? Hard floor and carpet upstairs
That’s a good price
Great deal. If Black Friday wasn't down the road round the corner
Why is the V8 better than this ? Is this good on carpets and is it easy to empty ? Thankyou for your help never had a cordless
According to the WHICH reviews all the V7's are Best BUys (Motorhead- the one in this deal; Animal and Total Clean) are Best BUys with 75% score.

V8's are also Best BUys with slighty higher score of 78%

We had a V6 and I was overjoyed when someone broke it, as we could get a V7, which is very much quieter. On max power it sounds about as loud as our old V6, but on normal the cat is only annoyed by it, rather than terrified
Thanks OP. Just what I’ve been looking for after my very old one conked out. Cheers!
Bought a v10 refurb and was like new
As above for me, too close to black Friday Dyson deals.
Honestly, while these cordless vacs seem all the rage at the minute, you cannot beat a corded. I have the V6, granted its one of the original but it's awful. Constantly having to empty the bin with a knife and constantly cutting out, it drives me mental. I won a John Pye auction in the week where I got two corded vacs for 27 quid. The suction on both is a million miles better.
Glad this deal has helped some.
To answer a few questions:
1 - I bought to replace a dead v6
2 - this isnt necessarily to replace a true corded vac. I'm buying this because my pregnant wife is struggling with our upright corded because of its weight and effort to carry upstairs etc.
3 - waiting for black friday is obviously a good idea if you can but I needed to replace asap.

Wife's pregnant? Why don't you do the hoovering yourself?

Lol I obviously do and for that I use the upright but she is a fiercely independent woman who couldnt stand the idea of not being able to do any hoovering at all for the next 4 months.

V6 sounds like it needs a clean out!

V6 sounds like it needs a clean out!

believe it or not, it has had many clean outs, that includes a full filter clean and I have completely removed the bin. I can only liken it to a soldier taking his gun apart and cleaning it

In all honesty, it is great for quick pick ups when chasing around after the messy kids but in all honesty, it is nothing more than that. There are people who say that this was never intended for whole house-deep cleans but now dyson have moved away from making corded vacs. I am just not convinced by them at all at the moment.

You can take the whole thing apart and clean out all the internal pipes.

Although perhaps you just have a worn battery so it thinks it's blocked when it's not?

It shouldn't be a worn battery, its not that old. Yup, I've had all the internal pipes cleaned. It's a great concept but I'm not convinced by it at all, its why I've gone back to a corded vac.
Got this and it’s amazing!
