Motorhead+ model available on eBay with 2 year guarantee for only £30 more, I’d rather have that myself.

So...~20% more expensive?

It is each to their own, personally I bought the V10 on the last deal - it's always a case of "if I spend a little bit more I get...." (hence the V10).
But not everyone is in the position to blow £300 on a vacuum cleaner.

With regard to the guarantee, some like that comfort it gives them. But in all honesty these are quality products, I think the likelihood of a failure between 12 months and 24 months doesn't warrant the cost.

And even then, I'm fairly sure sales of goods act would cover.

I’m just not comfortable buying a refurb especially for just £30 less.. it’s sucked up other people dead skin and god knows what else.

I bought the V10 refurb and besides 1 scratch it's spotless.
All the accessories are brand new as (of course) are all the filters. I expect the only "used" part is the motor itself.

That’s fair enough, I was gonna go refurb it’s be the higher end models such as v10/11 as there’s probably more value there with the reduction, I’m sure yours was more than a £30 discount against the market price, in that case I can understand.
