If you can also stretch to the v9.. Yeh... Thats better than the v8.

Have you heard about the v10?

It's far better to have it same day and don't risk missing the courier You can also pay for it 12 months later.

No need to get sarcastic. Just saying the difference between this and the V8 is £90 and like I just said, "if you can stretch to it"
I'm about to buy a Dyson either V7 or V8, but I want the model that also includes the soft roller head specifically for hard floors.

Their called Absolute or Total clean, hope this helps someone else decide.
I just received my Shark for £100 from Amazon yesterday. Don't strech your budget . These are falling down in price very fast . Voted hot otherwise .

Sharks are heavy and cumbersome but are powerful so good at the vacuuming bit lol

Yes very good , with removable battery which can be separately charged. Lots of attachment s. Not heavy if you remove all the unnecessary attachments. Very good for £100 .Can buy second battery and make the running time double as battery can be separately charged.

Thanks, this helps. what do you think about buying a v7 motorhead and then buying the soft brush separately. im now considering this after looking at the price of the Total clean

Have you seen this? Direct from Dyson with a 1 year warranty although lots of people on here are reporting getting a 2 year warranty when registered so you never know.

I just got the Tineco A11 for £229.99 would recommend this over the v7 has two batteries and 60 min runtime or the A10 for 149.99 so far it’s been brilliant as a cordless
I went for bosch @£129.99 with 65mins running time

Take it from me, the V7 will go back up to £249 once this promotion ends, twice the price of an ugly Shark, but 4 time better.

That's an option I'm considering too, soft head seems to be around £60 on its own.
I have a V7 animal edition. You don’t actually need the soft roller head attachment. I have engineered wood floors, tiling, carpet and use the same head attachment for all. It doesn’t damage the flooring and it I feel like it auto adjusts itself (this is most likely in my head). It has worked perfectly for two years and I think you’ll waste money on a soft roller on something you don’t actually need.
they not powerful, and they very gently body hoover, by accident if you dropped they not work again think about this.

Any good? Any reason why you went for it over a Dyson or Shark?

Main reason price, shark is the unknown brand for me. I've been using it for 2 days now and I'm very satisfied. You've got 3 speeds 1-65 mins useless, 2-37mins good enough, I'm not going to 3rd speed. On the Dyson you've got 2 speeds 1-20ish minutes (might be useless), 2-6mins. In the newer versions of Dyson you've got 3 speeds. After the 2 years warranty you may get another one and will be near the price of 1 Dyson.
