That is an absolute steal. We paid £279 for the normal one (no fluffy head) from appliances direct 4 or so months ago. JL will give 2yr warranty etc & this is £349 minimum elsewhere.
I will add since we bought it in ~Jan we've had the "proper" vac out once. This has practically replaced it in our house.
Not a bad price, just a shame Dyson have ditched the whole 5 year warranty and it is 2 years on everything with a battery in it. Wouldn't even mind if they excluded the battery from the warranty but it just speaks to their cheaper build quality these days.

Or is it clever marketing? I now change my vacuum every two years where as before I would keep it 5. To be fair things are moving that fast now, they’ve moved on significantly on two years, so I personally have no problem justifying the purchase

If you're changing every 2 years you should have got a Dyson and their warranty. Family has had Dyson since the 3rd model. The first one we had is with a neighbour and still going strong though has needed fixings like most. Dyson are built to be fixed easily as they build like lego.

I can't believe you have been buying new vacuums every two years... Thats a big false economy you're in. You probably could have had a top Dyson along with all the performance for a lot less money than you spent.

No you misunderstood, that’s exactly what I do, I’ve just bought the V10 Total Clean. I’ll keep it two years then sell it on and buy the V12 or whatever they’re up to

Could be, but to me it speaks more of either a cost cutting exercise or a lack of confidence in the build quality of their newer products which do have a reputation for being less robustly made than their older designs. Or more likely a bit of both.

Still this is a good price for the V8 absolute so have some heat LoveDeal23.

Ahhhh, yes I misunderstood. That's a good idea. Dyson are like iPhone... They keep value and can be sold at a good price.

Apologies
Thinking about getting the v8 absolute. More so for wooden floors and to run up the stairs more frequently because of pet hair Labrador.

this was a cracking price, wish I had seen it. Seems you can get it between £325-349.

the question is would it be daft putting £349 on a CC for the v8, when the v10 is only a margin £100ish more.

Is it really all that much better?
