Been watching out for a deal on these. This one i think is an "Absolute" bargain.

£289 via Groupon but use code "WELCOME" to get a further 10% - £20 off to bring down to £269.

Possible 27% Quidco too but I will be amazed if that also pays out.

Reckon they're new or refurb?

Would have looked a stonking deal but the recent v10 qvc deal has overshadowed it.
“Absolute” madness paying this much for a cordless vacuum! Get yourself the BETTER IN EVERY DEPARTMENT Xiaomi Dreame V9 for over a hundred pound cheaper.

Better suction
Better battery
Lighter
Quieter
Identical build quality

You’d be crazy to pay this for an inferior product. Ignore the Dyson hype

I would think Brand New otherwise they would be duty bound to declare if refurb. I also would disagree regarding the V10 deal. Reviews say V8 same power as V10 plus, V8 Absolute comes with the all important soft brush head for hard floors, plus, this deal is £30 cheaper. Just my opinion...

Not a fan of the overpriced Dysons, but to be fair the V10 deal was a better one considering the V10 is a much better vacuum than the V8 for only £30 more.... if they wasn’t so massively overpriced to begin with, I would’ve bought the V10 myself on that deal
Oh well, I think it's a good deal and have ordered.
It is a good deal I voted hot. They are 279.99 refurbed on ebay
-27% Quidco......it does track, but whether it pays........?!

...looks like he is on commission... as It is getting a bit obsessive from him now.
People have the right to make their own choice, you advice (thanks for that) and leave us to make our own mind up. We know what u like Cyberry (Xiaomi dream V9), and we know your choice already...I even found your Xiaomi dream V9 for £135, but didn't get it myself as I have other consideration against getting it. But I got this one instead as i needed the attachment to swap between an older Dyson version V6 Trigger already owned, which is still going strong and am hoping it will power the V8 attachement, at least the soft roller. Fingers crossed!???? If it doesnt, oh well, the V8 is still a step up from my V6 Trigger (4yrs old)
So there you go, we all have different circumstances and needs, and it a democracy here in UK, and its my own money being spent, and we sure have 100% right to spend it any way we bloody like.

Ta La, i still have a V6 but I'm loathe to fall into the "iPhone scenario' where you feel compelled to update the model every couple of years.

I've replaced the battery once, but apart from that it keeps my place clean, and i can do the whole flat in the 6 mins max output

the only annoying this that makes me want to upgrade is having to drag all of the dust out of the canister, that is a real PITA

Fair comments, and if money is of no importance to you than of course go for the overpriced Dyson.... millions do.

..... but I thought this was called Hot UK “deals”?

Surely the fact that you can buy a better vacuum than this one for over £100 cheaper constitutes being a deal??

Like you say, we live in a democracy.... freedom of speech, etc, etc.

To put it another way, let’s say I was looking to buy a new Android phone and I’d been looking at the Samsung Galaxy S10 (great phone by the way!).... then all of a sudden I spot a “deal” on HUKD where I can get it £30 cheaper..... that’s great..... but..... if someone in the comments posted a message that said, “hold on a minute, why would you buy a Samsung Galaxy 10, when you can get the ‘Sooper Dooper X59’ which has a faster processor, a better screen, a better battery, more internal memory, a much better camera, better software, better hardware, nicer case.... oh and it’s £300 cheaper than the Galaxy S10!”

Well my initial thoughts might be, “what the hell is a Sooper Dooper X59? If it’s so good, how come I’ve never heard of it?”

However I’m the sort of person who will at least go and take a look at it as I’m an open minded person.... I’d check a few reviews, see what people are saying about it, and if the claims stack up, I’d probably buy one as I like a “DEAL”

Now of course you’ll get other brand snobs who will turn their nose up at it because it doesn’t have a logo on it that they know and feel comfortable with, but there are also people, like myself, who will say, “thanks to the person who posted about the ‘Sooper Dooper X59’! I’d never heard of it and would have never have come across it had I not seen your post in the comments section of the Samsung Galaxy S10!

So my point is that just because you are a Dyson fanboy, doesn’t mean that everyone is..... and if someone decides to instead do their own research and decide they’d rather save £100 and get an even better vacuum because they saw my post..... well then that’s a good thing, so apologies if it seems to irritate you lot so much.

Like I say, buy your Dyson’s and enjoy them...... and move on, while some of us actually purchase superior products at a far lower price point

It's nothing to do with being a "brand snob", what a reductive comment. It's to do with people not wanting to buy expensive electronics from China, because good luck sorting out the warranty/delivery/import fees if something goes wrong.

You must have an alert set for any vacuum deal, because you spam every comment section with Xiaomi links. We get it. You like Xiaomi.
Good deal for me and voted hot, with the v10 you don’t get all the heads compared to the v8. Although people compare this to other companies they might be cheaper but they are not a Dyson hence the reason people pay a little extra for quality.

I was recommended this cordless by a friend and have never regretted it since so I’ve decided to buy one for my parents. It can be a tad heavy on the wrist if your parents are elderly but it’s still manageable
Yep they are heavier than people realise.... makes a big difference when using a vacuum that’s almost half the weight

I have no brand loyalty here, and not a brand snub or Brand fanboy in anyway possible. And i hate big brands . All brands get to a peak, and basically shove out duffs afterwards which brand devotee still buy anyway while better product for the money exist elsewhere.

My household is a combination of samsung, HP, Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi, Dyson list goes on . I was ideally looking to any buy handless, cordless with two interchangeable batteries but the shark F80 and Tineco A11 reviews were not to my liking and more expensive. As i have a Trigger already (without the long stick attachments) in a household with 3 ladies, i need all the help i can get, and a compatible one makes more sense as it is basically two units to share attachments to meet workloads.
I may get the Xiaomi in future, just need consumers in uk to use extensively and review first before making up my mind about it.
Trust me, no one like saving more than me

You can buy the V9P from Amazon, which at least means it’s easier to deal with Amazon if there’s an issue, but they are charging £189.99 for it, which is nearly £50 more than I paid for it on AliExpress

amazon.co.uk/dp/B07W7495LX/

By the way, I was also looking at the Tineco’s when I was researching, they look to be very good vacuums, but again they are up there with Dyson price-wise

Dear oh dear. In light of the recent tragedy reported in the press yesterday, it’s a tad insensitive to be comparing me posting on a deal that people might want to consider an alternative vacuum, to being “worse than cancer” and that it would make someone “want to jump off a bridge”

Dear oh dear..... I’m dumbstruck that people get so worked up over something so trivial.
