I think this is a pretty good deal and direct from Dyson too.

I think it’s a better model than the recent Currys deal.

Can’t see it getting any cheaper on Black Friday to be honest

Other than the fact that the V8 has a more powerful battery and additional attachments
Can anyone spot the difference between the absolute and the absolute Pro? Been looking for a while and not seen anything!

Quite simply, the colour of the wand
It’s the same model and same price
Same model with a coloured wand
My battery died just before the 2 year warranty ran out. Make sure you call them after 23 months and get a free replacement just in case!
Wait for ebay 10% off. I got it last year from Currys ebay when ebay was running extra 10%. Its a good £30 in case of Dyson

Use domestic and general
As an alternative, you can get this one from the Dyson eBay Store (manufacturer refurbished with 1 year warranty).

I grabbed mine when a 10% voucher could be applied, bring it to the £303 mark. Newer tech but not as many accessories.
i've had my V8 for 3 years and surprisingly the battery still seems to run for as long as when new. At one point I thought the battery was going, but I actually just needed to give it a very thorough clean (not just the filters, everything inside pretty much) and it was running like new again.

Definitely recommended - it's much more enjoyable to use than a corded vacuum.
Apart from the colour what is the benefit of the 'pro' version compared to the absolute one??? Thanx

They don't seem to have it any more

You happy with yours?

Yeah it’s brilliant it has all the things extra that dyson didn’t think to add to the the v11 1 no built in battery and you get 2 so lasts longer 2 latch on trigger so don’t have to hold trigger 3 a filter cleaning tool so no need to wash filters 4 dirt sensors so in auto it automatically senses the amount of dirt on the floor and increases the power when necessary can’t fault it check out vids on YouTube comparing it to the v11

I have the pro and I love the grey wand and it makes me feel better about waving it around ! Looking at the attachments and spec I can't see any difference. I got mine as a 'refurb' from ebay with a 1 year guarantee. I got a brand new, unopened model with a 2 year guarantee.

I love it for the ease of cleaning, pick up, go, return to charge.

Major difference (and it’s a deal breaker) is the bin emptying mechanism. On the V6/V7 it is rubbish (literally!) the redesign on the v8 is night and day. I’ve had both and would strongly recommend the V8 over the v6/v7 even if it means paying more.

Only difference between this and the absolute is colour according to Google!

I thought the difference between the bin mechanisms was between the v6 and v7? I’m sure I’ve read somewhere that v7 and v8 have the same mechanism

Was it the Tineco Pure One s12 you bought?

They're selling at £500 on Amazon!

What's the best price for it now that you are aware of?
Edited by: "microwavemasterchef" 17th Nov 2019
Yeah £500 everywhere at minute keep an eye on amazon for Black Friday it was on for £338 on a daily deal and then there was a voucher for £70 off

There is one on eBay for £425 or best offer

TBH I'm looking to get a Dyson v10 for under £300. Let's see what BF has to offer.

I stand corrected Sir!
Don't buy. While Dyson products are good, they are not necessarily good at their performance.
Running and maintenance costs are high. At the end of the day you will feel like - No value for money.
