Asked Dyson if they would price match direct (to also get free tool) but they won't. John Lewis will though as I've got confirmation already

Was 314 with ao 10 days ago. This could be the cheapest about now but unless you're desperate for a new hoover, I'd hang fire

don't buy this model if you have hard floors, go for the absolute

I've been trying to choose between the animal and absolute. (Either v6 or v8, the purse shall decide on that count!) a friend and my mother both have the animal and say it's fine on hard floor. Another has the fluffy and uses in hard and carpet and also no complaints but no one has had the absolute to compare

The absolute is far better on hard floors. We have it and the mother in law has the animal. can tell the difference.

How have you found the battery life on the absolute?? The 14 mins with the motorised head bothers me!!

Only thing missing is the soft roller head of the absolute. At full rrp of £75 adding this still works out at cheaper than buying the absolute. Sure you can find it cheaper too

Just to warn you. The new fluffy head doesn't fit the Absolute model.

If you have hard floors buy Fluffy or Total Clean (or Absolute but less effective attachment and can't upgrade to the new one)
