Cracking deal @Chanchi32
Is it possible to play games offline ?
Would love to get this but then I see the pile of shame I've acquired and the game pass offerings and simply can't justify anymore... No wonder price has tumbled and they've jumped on to PS4 too
Can't remember seeing it this cheap before, heat!
Can you stack these subscriptions?

Yep I havent bothered re-subscribing since getting Game Pass.

This is xbox specific isn't it? Won't work on a PC?

Yeah the game license is no different than if you own the game so you can play it offline and the DRM will kick you off if you subscription runs out.

The one game I want to play that ea have brought out recently is A Way Out but its not in the vault! This price is a steal though.

Argh. Tempting just for BFV, ME Andromeda and Peggle 2
Shame I’ve had so much hassle with cdkeys. Could have done with this.

You don’t need to own A Way Out but you do need another person to play with. Just download the demo and you can play with someone who owns the game for free (in its entirety).
Thanks Chanchi - Heat added

A simple google search takes five seconds. My answer was easy enough to understand. If he’s no idea what PS plus or xbox game pass is, then he probably doesn’t game enough to warrant the benefit of EA access.

Even if they did It definitely wouldn't be cost effective for us in the UK. Think of all the other yearly sports games they make as well as fifa, not so popular here but the subscription price would be though the roof, Americans would lap it up as a good deal but I'm not sure people in the UK would pay £100+ a year.

Can his be bought now and gifted to someone later? I cant see any mention of gifting or an expiry date. (Sorry if obvious). Cheers.

The PC has this service already. Origin Access Premium. Get access to all EA games as soon as released. £80 per year. Which is good value. I think Origin Access is great value at this price, but they add so few games, far less than the basic origin access for PC.
No one is questioning how CD Keys is able to offer keys 27% cheaper than Xbox themselves?

A Origin premium service on console would definitely be worth £80 as that includes a lot more than just EA games, not sure I'd pay that if it was just EA games included.

It's cd keys so I would definitely use the code straight away, many reports on this forum have claimed cd keys check if codes have been used and if not they sell them again leaving you not able to redeem it.
Damnit. Bought this for £15.99 the day before haha
derbree07/07/2019 15:40

Going from one extreme to the other.

EA Access is trash. Smart thing to do is sub for a month then quit. Because they don't stick to a plan. For example, they released Fifa 17 around April, 6 months after release. And with Fifa, games usually dying by then. Then Fifa 18, they released it AFTER Fifa 19 came out in october. Right now, Fifa 19 isn't even on there, almost a year later.

Look at Xbox with Gamepass. That IS exactly what they're doing. For just 1 buck for the entirity of 3 years, I will have day 1 access to all their 1P games. And then they also release AAA 3P games less than 6 months after release.
Subscription based gaming, play all the old cra*p you never bothered buying.

Because MS overprice everything.

I've said this before in regard to Gold memberships. CD Keys always undercut MS. But MS must still be making some profit from CD Keys sales.

So why don't MS price match CD Keys and get 100% of the profits instead of losing out to CD Keys?

Well that's certainly an interesting take on it. Maybe it's that CD Keys are a grey market reseller and no one knows where they get their keys from? How can Microsoft overprice something that only they can make?
