Please shop responsibly. During the Co-vid-19 outbreak, we have been seeing a lot of community demand for basic household items. Please consider others and don’t stockpile - we all need to work together to ensure everyone gets what they need. If possible, perhaps offer to help older neighbours, family or friends by sourcing items for them.

Lovely drink at a great price. Spends most of its life at £36.

Eagle Rare Bourbon Whiskey is masterfully crafted and carefully aged for no less than 10 years. Each barrel is discriminately selected, ensuring each bottle offers consistent flavour with a seemingly individual personality. The nose is complex with aromas of toffee, hints of orange peel, herbs, honey, leather and oak. The taste is bold, dry and delicate with notes of candied almonds and very rich cocoa. The finish is dry and lingering.

Stock up if it ever does. Sadly it looks like that 2 months was the only time in the last 5 years to go below £28!
Bought this at a slightly lower £28 last year. Still have a bottle left. One of the nicer bourbons.
Any good for an old fashioned?

What’s the best price you can get this for? Honestly interested.

I’ve never seen it below £40 and personally can’t justify it as when I have £40 for whisky (which is rare I usually stay 20-30) it’s gonna go on scotch.

treat myself along with another free months prime, so saturdays after takeaway drink is sorted, i'm a jim beam drinker usually so hope this is worth twice the price
just hope the delivery guy isn't too fed up, it's like xmas out there!

Don't think you will go back to Jim Beam, if it's the white label, after drinking this
i've never tried this 1 before, had most the other bourbons within my price range, 4 roses was nice, but jim beam is fine when at £14
think this is the most i've ever paid for a bottle, but what the hell

You won’t regret it. I only have this as a special treat! (I only drink weekends anyway but normally stay on a £15-20 bottle and pull something more special out every few weeks)

saw a mixer recipe above, i always drink any bourbon neat no ice, but what mixers have anyone tried, obviously not with this stuff, but the likes of jim beam and other regular affordable bourbons for a tasty fuller glass?
often thought of a dr pepper type mash but never tried it,
anyone for a more refreshing taste, but keeping the bourbon taste, i only drink bourbon after a meal and want something less gassy

I drink mine neat too.

The old fashioned posted above is the typical some might say purest bourbon mixed drink with the better bourbon making a better drink as the whisky really is the main flavour. Most people don’t keep bitters to hand though.

The only other mix I would make would be a refreshing drink called a ‘7 and 7’. All it is is 7up added To the whisky. I would only make it with cheap whisky though as it’s light and sweet.

40675861-WlYBa.jpgHad it a few times ranging from £28-£34..just keep an eye out for it..
tried it last night, was unimpressed by it, but i was tired after an hard shift though, and hot weather.
just had a measure or 2 being pretty chilled tonight and very nice,
still not sure if it's worth paying more than double my usual beam or even other bourbons on offer,
i'm not a connoisseur of bourbons but i know what i like and this is a rare treat and really smooth, would definitely buy again if price right and flush
just make sure you're in the mood for it and neat of course, not even ice and its liquid gold
I should start posting deals as I bought this last week. It arrived yesterday (no rush £1 credit). Sent my brother the Jamesons Stout too (£20). I bought a bottle of Woodford Reserve two weeks ago at £25. Have to stop looking on here as I am getting embarrassed at the number of alcohol deliveries. I had a mini keg of IPA delivered from a local brewery last week.

I was recommended this one by a friend from Kentucky. He also recommended Angel's Envy but that has been difficult to find.
how does this compare to woodford reserve? looking to buy as a gift
