A gentle yet compelling story of life, love, loneliness and blocked urinals. Each evening, the regulars bring their particular foibles and characterstics up to the bar. Overhearing their conversations and reliving the events in each of their lives is both moving and amusing.

One of the best ever comedy series I have had the pleasure to watch
never got the recognition it deserved

excellent comedy cheap at any price8)

fantastic comedy series

Absolutely brilliant comedy, downbeat and hilarious!!!!

"To the regiment........................I wish I was there!!"

was a bargain when I paid £10 for the 2 seasons about 2 years ago so at the price it is a steal!

Heat well & truly added

"A pint of the finest bitter in the North please pet"

"Are you not staying here then Ken?"

Tommy was my fave character. This is a phenomenal deal. Very very underrated.

If you have a walkers code then you can get series 1+2 frrom zavvi and the hut for just over £6 then you will have the nice box that it come in, I paid over £20 for this when it first came out some years ago.

Don`t mess about give us the code!!!

"No thanks, I'll stay on me own"

Excellent series never tire at watching it! Like Royle Family only in a northern pub.

The typical tragic yet charming North exposed to the full. Bargain heat added!

Keep 'em peeled Ken, crime doesn't crack itself.

Loved this show, top find

Tommy was probably the funniest, remember his rant about rubbish telly..

"that pillock from Sainsburys was on again he's never off him cooking another pan full of **** that only his mates will eat. Then I flicked over to the other side and there were a bunch of nobodies sitting in a house and were expected to watch them eat sleep and **** and then as soon as they say anything interesting they put a load of bird noises on. I tell ya I do't know what the worlds coming to. "

Don`t mess about give us the code!!!

Go buy some crisps there are still some about with the codes on them.

Echo all the above comments, one of the best comedies of the last decade.

Crime won't crack itself - the two lazy coppers were hilarious.

"Ahhl stay on me own thanks".

Fantastic comedy.

The mum and the cleaner are hilarious too

"Are you alright Duffy?" Everyone knows a Joan

Doesn't get much hotter than this imo

Quiz night -
'He's doing it again next week'
'Quick write down the answers.'

Great buy, voted hot.
Best watched whilst eating a Fray Bentos pie.

Best line ever "You cant even laugh at dwarves anymore, but when theyre in a panto when youve paid 35 quid a ticket they want you to laugh then!"
