Earn 10% cashback @ Morrisons when u pay with Lloyds Debit Card

One for Lloyds bank customers:
Earn 10% cashback (up to £10) @ Morrisons when you pay with Lloyds debit/credit card (check your offer) if you are offered the deal & opt in via internet banking (one click).

Morrisons/Lloyds have run this before but it is currently live for me until 3rd August 2014, so is likely be working for others. Great when combined with all the other offers running atm.

Excludes petrol & morrisonscellar.com.

It is called "Lloyds Every Day Offers" and features other retailers too, but varies depending on your current spending habits.

Eg. Combine with:-
Spend £40 to get 6p per litre off petrol coupon
Spend £40/week over the summer to get £15 off in August Bank Holiday week
Clicksnap offers like 50p cashback on up to 10 boxes of Kleenex Mansize Compact Tissues 2 pack @ £1
Reasonably priced school uniform.
Next week's Sun meat voucher.
etc. etc.

I normally shop @ tesco, but this has tempted me away for a while.

I usually get Morrisons but this time mine is for Waitrose.Don't shop in Waitrose.(_;)

The percentage will vary by person. I currently have 5% for Morrisons (though from Halifax) and if you do have the offer (many will not - my Lloyds account doesn't) then it won't matter whether you use your debit or credit card.

Waitrose here.

15% with Halifax for me. But Aldi and Lidl both far cheaper, despite that!

I got Waitrose too - but the Waitrose near me doesn't have great parking.

Maybe Morrisons are targeting specific areas? - a big new store opened near me about 8 months ago and there's lots of competition in the area. (In fact all the supermarkets in the town now seem under-utilised).

I live in a fairly rural area, so "near" is still about 2 miles away with a large hill in between - not doing my weekly shop on foot!!!:p

I use a lyoness card, which helps with cashback in morrisons and other stores.

10% with Halifax for me - interesting that its different for different customers!
Shame that Morrisons don't do their own gift cards (like Tesco do) so you can just but a load of Morrisons gift cards and spend later on at your own pace. They do loads of other gift cards, including a £25 VISA online spend gift card which may be useful to some (as well as the other usual Pizza Express, Nandos, Next, Boots etc.)

Neither Morrisons or Waitrose with my Lloyds account? Do you need to have used your debit card at one of these stores previously to trigger an offer?

Or just withdraw cash from the checkout.

Any chance of some of you writing in English? I haven't a clue what some of the posts are "going on about"! :-)

Every post on the page makes perfect sense to me...

Got 10% with Lloyds up to £100 spend cashback and £3 cashback on a £30 spend with Halifax. Had both for the last month my Lloyds expires in 6 days time.

Of course. Low quality unbranded rubbish would naturally be cheaper.

:-)

Aldi products are generally better quality than Morrisons branded or unbranded rubbish.
That said Morrisons do have a lovely (or lardy) fresh pie counter.

They have their own gift vouchers (paper version) I've done this before bought x amount of vouchers then used them when I please & you get any change back in cash so even if you bought something for 1p (if that's possible) used 1 of their vouchers you'd get all your change in cash.

If you won't buy it because you feel it's low quality (tastes differ - no-one can tell you you're wrong) then fine. If you won't buy it because it doesn't have a famous brand name printed on the front, that's the very definition of snobbery...

If you ask for a cashback on a till ( for example 50 GBP for shopping and 50 GBP cashback = 100GBP transaction) you get this counted for your cashback as well. Free money just for a cash withdraw instore

Whats a lyoness card?

I got waitrose too I shop in morrisons

I had Morrisons on lloyds last week at 5%. Used it once and it disappeared even though it said it was on until 3rd August

Wow, that old logo takes me back!

limeboyjoe, Lyoness is a website based company, where you preload giftcards through their website for a number of different stores. At the time you preload your giftcard they give you a small percentage back as cashback. Morrisons is on their list along with Arcadia group and a few other big stores. The missus has just started using this and so far so good, keeps her speanding spree's at bay. lol.... I just hate credit card companies taking the cashback for themselves....

That's because it was a one-time only offer so once you used it, it disappears (sometimes they do it on any spend until X, other times it's on your next spend).

If this is the same as the Halifax Cashback offers you can just buy something for a few pennies and get £50 cashback at the self checkout and you'll get £5 credited as cashback on your account the following month. Halifax was capped at £10 cashback though.

Or just get cashback at the til, £5 lunch with £50 cashback = £55 receipt = 10% cashback = £5.50 from Lloyds = free lunch
You have to opt in each valid period, and it's a max of £10 per period

Just checked my account and Morrisons 10% CB still showing for me, so doesn't appear to be single transaction only.

Also got £50 cashback for "It's On Us" where they randomly select a transaction (in this case petrol) and refund you cashback.
Happy Days!!

Does this really work for Lloyds?
It seems crazy to give cashback on a cash withdrawal.
Actually, I got £20 cashback on my last transaction, so I'll see for myself and report back.

Never heard of Lyoness until this but we use a site called Crazynotto which does pretty much the same thing. Crazynotto discount rates seem better but you may have to call their call centre to get a code to join up.

Thanks Jasper, just checked it out. Pretty much the same thing, but I cant see the cashback percentage for each shop ?, also seems like a single shoppers cashback site. Might stick with Lyoness shopping network, the discount is long term and pretty much reasonable also the added feature of making a small percentage all shopping that someone you recommend(and they recommend) forever. Gonna spend all my cashback on TwiX chocolate bars....
